What's up with people these days? I was in a grocery store yesterday looking at the fridge-thing where they keep milk and such. Well, it seemed NOT very cold. The air outside was infact colder than inside the box. Then I went up to the man by the counter (that I haven't ever met before) and told him, the problem. He smiled back and suddenly responded yelling the words "You're insane man". I stood there understanding close to nothing while this guy stood up and told me that noone tells him how to run the store.

That felt kinda weird...I believe my mental health is within normal parameters and that I am actually quite sane...

What the hell does "insane" mean? Obviously nothing close to what I thought...

Is it just me? I have this urge to go back and kick his ass, but if I did he would infact be right about the insane thing...

It's kind of a 'paradox' as I'm going insane thinking about it, and I'll be stamped as insane if I kick his ass because of it. This means I'll be going insane no matter what I do.

Maybe if I just went back to yell at him it'd go away...maybe I should try that

You could be confused about your sexuality. When you ask somebody a question like that, you are obviously confused. Only Insane people would dare. Perhaps the air was indeed colder inside, but your desire for a different sexual experience was overwhelming your senses.

Try going to a "bathroom party". After that go back to the store and see if the temp has "changed". If it has not you are not insane. If it has is simply boiled down the the fact that you were "frigid" on the inside and the internal battle that raged on pumped cold blood through your heart.

good luck!

ok that was just damn funny. but insanity is somethin ive wondered about. if ur insane, do u know ur insane? is it cool? how can i go insane? anyone know of anything that would cause u to go insane? if u do, chances are, you yourself are insane or..... not sane... who the hell decides that people are not sane, and what qualifies them? maybe being insane is cool as hell. and maybe its just people with a really differant outlook on life. of course, you do have to lock up the drooling ones that cant walk, but everyone else, if they dont ant to kill people, should just be given a guitar and a record deal, how the hell do you think we got such great shit from the doors and everyone else. id like to add right now that The Doors just kick ass.

Go back to the exact same guy and try to get him to do it again, but this time go in with a paper bag with dog shit in it. and when he yells that your insane. simple say yes and hand him the bag politely.

rol3x, read catch 22. if your sane, youll know that you probably dont want to be fighting in a war. the only way they let you go home is if your insane. if your insane, then why the hell would you wanna go home?

I feel like the wistle blower in the forums lately, but...
That's not a catch 22. That's irony. A catch 22 is more like:
I need a credit card. To get a credit card I need a good credit history. To get a good credit history I need a credit card.

the example is the catch 22 in the book from what ive been told anyway, but i mentioned it because it related to the insane thing

I believe the reference you are looking for is that if you were crazy/insane, they sent you home, but in order to fly (I do believe the book was focusing on fighter pilots.) you had to be crazy, so that better fits a Catch-22. Would someone who's actually read the damn thing clear this up?!
