It's not something I see in every post but it does happen. someone goes out and says well look under your name our something to that extent. What I'm talking about is when people say something about being a lam0r or being l33t. As if the amount of ones posts made their opinions matter more or made them more right. maybe I'm the only one that notices. hmm, well whats your opinion/feelings.

Lam0r's opinions don't count!

We have all felt the stigma attached to being a lam0r, and then the secret thrill in being promoted to the l33t hax0r...

Perhaps we should all reach our hands to those mired in their own lam0rness and encourage them to the l33t hax0rs that we all know they can be.

People ask me to fix their computer. I do in 5 seconds.
They say "You think your good don't you".
I say "I know I'm good". People always ask stupid questions.

Being a Lamor isn't bad. Remember, people only get to see if your a fool when you open your mouth.

hehe
better to remain silent and be thought a fool...
then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Then wait for a mutation…

That's the quote, but it's easier for real fools to get the hint when it's clear. (ie: English you don't have to think about)

I prefer the less subtle hints when informing people, eg: "You're a dumbass!"

Just how many posts does it take till your 'promoted' to l33t hax0r?

In the mean time do you 3l33t guys not give a shit what the lam0rs say?

Posted by The_Hiro on Aug. 17 2000,09:37
It doesn't take too many.
Most of the time I don't even notice the name of the poster until after I've read the post. Whether you're a lam0r or not doesn't matter to me. If anything, I notice a lam0r's post more than a l33t hax0r's post because nearly everyone on the board is l33t now.

Just because you have enough posts to be a/an "1337 haxor," doesn't mean you will be some voice of reason. Also, just because you are a "lam0r" doesn't mean your opinion doesn't count.

hey cr0 ! make something above 133tness so we got something else to aim for.. lets build an entire higharchy (sp?) so that we know who is REALLY opinionated!!!

btw.... how did eng_man get the status of uber god ?... is that possible, or did cr0 give him the hookup?

My mommy said I was special ... cr0 is just merely confirming it ;)

If someone stays lam0r too long, they are fed to the uber gods.

But where is Gamera?

It can be a good or a bad thing... if I see some really smart stuff from a lam0r I say, "WHOA, that's a cool guy!" If I see something stupid, I say, "STUPID lam0r!!"
