Ok, if any of you read my little comment in the rants section in "Touching my damn car" thread, i decided to describe in detail what car i want. shit i just realized im going to hear a lot of shit for this because of earlier with the "I have a fax machine in my BMW: comment tawords me. oh fucking well. I want a 97 or better BMW 3 series or 323I . an aftermarket yellow paint, but it wouldnt just be plain yellow, id snag a little differant one, with side-skirts, Pirelli low profile tires, MOMO or HRE 5 spoke rims, silver, none of that real pimped out chrome rim shit for me, K&N air filter, tips on the aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket halogen headlights, a rear wing, side markers, aftermarket tail lights, roof spoiler, khaki/tan colored leather interior, with aftermarket speed shifter and knob, aftermarket, also i'd lower it with eibach springs about 3" in front, and 2.2" in back, and then add some a p-chip, and as for mobiletronics: Alpine or Pioneer electronics receiver unit, with maybe a 6" screen and with 6" screens in front 2 visors, 8" screens in headrests, and a DVD player along with maybe a gaming system but i dont think i want to bother with that shit, then 2 or 3 10" boston acoustics or Infinity subwoofers, infinity 6/8's, 360 degree mobile tweeters. btw if any of you read Max Power magazine, and i doubt you do, but if you catch the latest issue, there basicly is this exact car featured in it. ive had plans for this car since before i got this issue, but now ive got pictures to drool over.yes this will set me back SEVERAL thousand but someday ill have my car in one of these magazines and it will be my daily driver. if any of you have similar ideas for a car or already have done anything like this, let me know. damn looking at all this shit its gonna take me years to get all of that shit. Well I am not one to go for the flashy car but something that goes and handles well. Which is why I have decided to put here the next car I am thinking of acquiring. (Since I live in Australia some model names may not make sense)There is a new Subaru Liberty coming out here in October I think which is an All-Wheel-Drive, boxster 6 cylinder, 4 door sedan. In America its called a Legacy. Basically besides the basic package which is all powered up (mirrors, seat, etc) I would get all the sports options, 17inch mags (if possible, 16in is standard), low profile wide types (215 or 225's depending on the rims, prob pirellis), rear spoiler, front spoiler, side skirts, sports supension (go round those corners at 60kph  ), and probably an upgraded sound system, no subwoofer though, I think they are pointless and I don't listen to much *douszzh douszzh* music anyway and getting a musical subwoofer would probably be too expensive. I'll trade in my '97 VS II Holden Commodore for it (about $AUD14k probably) which means it will probably end up costing me about $AUD38-40k. That's reality. But in terms of what else I wouldn't mine - the new Porsche 911 Turbo looks fuckin fantastic and goes like a rocket, and its only $AUD300k, what a bargain! regards, reman ------------------

I don't know that much about pimping out cars, but i do know that i'd like to improve odd cars that you wouldn't think could perform.As it stands, i'd like to take my current car , a chevy caprice classic wagon, pull out the 307, maybe put in a 450, or even a chevy big block. remove the hydralic power steering and replace it with electronic (i'd have to design and build it myself but that would just make it cooler). maybe an oil injection stystem. oh and does anyone know what the benifits of a duel exhaust system are?

granted im not a mechanic and i really dont know, but i wouldnt think it would make a differance. i mean, same shit either comes out one tube or two, either way its the same stuff, just has more space to exit, so i dont see any benefit other then looking cooler.

well as of now, im sort of torn between two choices. im not much for going off the stock models, more of a fully loaded kinda thing. the first would have to be a bmw z8 roadster, red exterior, black leather interior. the second would be an audi TT Roadster, of course red again, with black leather interior, fully loaded and such. of course id have to get a pimped out stereo system (i dont know much about car stereo stuff, so id just go with the most expensive stuff, cause usually that means its the best) and of course id make sure theres no electronic limitations (i know the z8 is electronically limited to 115 mph) and of course id have to have it in manual. oh gosh, im just giddy thinking about the possibilities.

I really don't care about interior or stereos or paint jobs right now, i just want to be able to pull up to that guy in the off the lot corvette in my big ass wagon and blow him off the line (i know i won't have a chance against anyone who knows what they're doing with their car).

Dual exaust, does give you the ability to get rid of more exaust gases. The reason it gives you more power is it provides more of a straight run. less turns in the pipe the less turbulance and the less back pressure.------------------

about the harley or fat boy, im sorry but i hate those damn bikes. no prob with the people who ride them, but i fucking hate the bikes. harleys are crap. thats it. crap. their too big, too loud, sound like a continuous 500 pd. fat man farting in an un-ending stream that gets worse when they hit the throttle. i cant stand them. sorry but ill jump on my dads 95 Ducatti Super Sport 900 fly past your sorry ass on your loud ass harley, and all while looking 10 times cooler on that red rocket. however, i do have respect for this guy i saw on the discovery channel who makes 70,000.00$ custom bikes that look a little like harley, but not really, he makes them all by hand (pounds the fuckin gas tanks out of metal himself and welds the shit together) and all exactly the way the customer wants. those are the closest id ever get to a harley, and even then id rather get a good italian or japanese sport bike and burn you all on the street. lol, about the better off dead shit, yea i saw that on tv for 40'th time just yesterday, thats actually my favorite part in that otherwise boring movie.

Yeah, my wagon started out as a trooper car, they used it to haul those highway scales around. but i burn vettes now as it is, and my car has no acceleration. I think if you're going to buy a car like a vette or a hummer or something you should have to pass a test to show you know how to drive. I'm sick of passing people in vettes going slower than traffic.

since I don't know much about cars, i just want a 1999 Mistubishi 3000GT exactly like myne on GT2, except straight black. Level 4 turbo and all. Don't know where but the virtual world I'd evern have the chance to go over 200mph, but I can dream. oh and a video/sound system like Rol3x described, sounds l33t------------------

What you may not realize is that's the price some people have to pay for driving a fast, flashy car. They attract a lot of attention from the cops, especially red cars. So they drive just a little slower to they don't get pulled over for something inane. ------------------

yea they are pretty nasty, i can admit that. happyfish, my advice to you is if your going to get a Suzuki, thats cool, you might consider a Hayabusa, im sure i spelled it wrong, but you know the one im talking about. thats a seriously badass bike, i believe its the fastest production bike on the planet, top speed of 200 or so, but ive seen shit on tv with professionals testing it who had it over 210 or so.still, the one your interested in looks hot too. anyways, im still content with my dads red Ducati 900 SS. as for the fax machine, nah, ill just stick with a car phone for now. heh

I've passed vettes doing barely the speed limit on a clear straight stretch of highway without a cop in sight, i think they just don't know how to drive. If you're going to drop the money on a high performance car you might as well use it, otherwise you're just screaming "small dick" for the world to hear

Sithiee:If you want to go with a non-limited Z8 - which made me make a rather large mess in my pants when I first saw it - you need to do this...
(I suppose this assumes you live in the United States, I'm not sure if it's offered from other countries or not.) BMW offers a program where for mere pocket change (well, mere if you're buying a US财,000 car), you can fly to Europe, take a really nice road trip in your new car, and then have it shipped back. Usually the models you get this way are the European models with American-marked gauges. (at least this is what is true with the Z3's). AND when you purchase your car actually IN Europe, you don't get popped all of the 37\% or so of the car import tax that the US levies - just whatever the import tax is on purchases coming back into the US.

Yeah that's a bad ass bike, fastest in the world etc, but it cost more and WAY MORE in insurance. I think 172mph is fast enough for me anyway, plus I like the looks of the gsx-r 750 better..

Well, I don't really like American cars, but the only exception is the Viper, if I were to get one, it would be a GTS-R 2000. Besides looking cool, it tops out at like 320 mph. The thing has a spoiler higher than the roof of the car, is so low and would be ultimate for cornering and has an intake on the roof.But, if I were to have choice, it would be a 2000 Porche 911 Turbo, yellow. Now, that is a sweet-ass car. It has that new shifting system where it's an automatic, but you can bring it down to manual, and the shifters are levers on the steering column. If you ask me, that is cool! ------------------

Happyfish:yeah that bike is fucking awesome, but completly fucking unless around where I live. There is no way you could take that bike off the highways, hell even the paved roads around here would be hard on it. Which is why I want a harley. You can fucking haul ass anywhere on those things. Man, whats with all the Vette people. Vipers outperform Vettes in pretty much every category, plus they look cooler. However, the question referred to any car, so I would have to say a RENNTech CLK 60. Its a heavily modified version of a Mercedes CLK 430, only they triple the horsepower, add nice ground effects, completely redo the interior, etc. Still, having an air conditioner inside the seats might be helpful with all the friction you generate doing 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and pulling 1.18 lateral G's (non-skidpad) Bring it, Vette.

DaTaFuSioN, the reason why people like Vettes is that they top out around ็k, versus a Viper, which is at least ๖ grand, and your exceptionally nice (no argument here) 贘k Mercedes.
There are very few other sports cars out there (if any) that can match its performance for the money.
Incidentally, the fastest (top-speed wise) street-legal car in America is a Lingenfelter-modified twin-turbo 225mph Corvette C5.

I agree with Syph0n.I want a 1994 Viper, Gun Metal Blue, double stripe interior (white + silvergrey), and a big color change racing stripe down the middle. That colorchange paint is amazing! It's like US躔 for 1L!!! It's like holographic paint, when it burns past you the color spectrum goes right through the rainbow. If I had a bike it would be a 1998 Motoguzzi.

i've seen many interesting videos online... such as a civic beating a viper in a drag race... but..i tend to avoid audi's and benz's (although i must admit TT's are awesome)... i'd go for a supra. i saw one the other day while i was driving around, omg it looked so hot... in the same parking lot, i saw an RX-7 FD3S. both of them i'd probably tune to the max... looking at my situation now, i won't be able to afford those cars for a LONG time, so.. i would go for a civic. yes, they're played out by riceboys, but they can be fast if tuned well. if i buy one in a gay color (like green or purple) i'll definitely repaint it black, but i think i'll save the body kit for last, veilside of course

Maybe he's thinking of that video clip with the electric converted car beating the Viper. That car had a separate motor on each wheel. Though I didn't think that one was a Civic.------------------

naw, that civic vs. viper video is legit... (i was the one who showed it to veilside, in fact) either the viper driver sucks ass, or the civic has some crazy-ass mods under the hood.
personally, i wouldn't want a civic because
1) i'm white (got rice bitch?)
2) i'd rather have an rx-7 fd twin turbo... my dad's cousin had one of those and got 2 speeding tickets with it. and probably all while still in 2nd gear.

I prefer Chevrolet.. a nice 1970 Monte Carlo with a 454 would be nice. If its a ford I like Cobras. I hate Hondas for some strange reason. Im not rich enough to buy a BMW plus I like american sports cars more than luxury foreign cars. Volvos are pretty much BMW clones. Hummers are ok, basically a luxury army vehicle. IMO any SUV is just a station wagon jacked up with 4 wheel drive. :P------------------

Little LiNeY's dream car:A BMW Z3 convertible. Black, or silver. With black leather interior. Any other wishes? Oh yeah... a cd player to listen to some cool music. And if I can't get that car (and I can't!) I want at least the license to drive my dad's motor bike... nice 22 year old red BMW. But my mom didn't want me to get the bike license... oh well *sigh*... I'll try to earn enough money for that Z3.

liney, your dream car isnt too far out of reach. its about 35k, and thats pretty cheap as far as sports cars go. you should go for a z8. much more power, and much more style.and as far as choosing a car goes. if your just gonna buy it and soup it up, who gives a rats ass what it is? if i had a v8 400 hp(or more) but it had to be in like a geo metro (actually...that might be exciting), hell yeah im gonna take that over my corolla. you all are far too picky. and there are a shitload of factors in a drag race besides the car type. a super low end viper with a not so great driver could easily lose to a souped up civic with a really good driver. ------------------

good point sithiee. actually, i've heard of a 300+ hp ford festiva with a mazda engine installed... that's hot... anyways. i'm not really looking for a drag race setup anyways... i'd rather tackle the corners in a downhill course.
