Topic: Starship Troopers Bastardization: What do you think?

Lately I've been thinking about doing my own bastardization, and tonight while I was watching Survivor I did up a few panels. What do you guys think? Would it be worth it for me to continue this project? Or is it just a bad attempt to cash in on cr0bar's fame? Let me know what you guys think.------------------

First and especially last frame = Thumbs up!!!I think any movie can be bastardized, but it's hard to bastardize one in the techie sense.... The Matrix was perfect. Hackers obviously had potential. Blade=Bad idea from the get go, SWE4 surprisengly good!!! ------------------

Ditto to the 1st and 3rd frames. I don't seem to detect the continuity/relationship page to page, but I'm starving so... Its definitely looking promising tho.*gleeful rubbing of hands at the prospect of another spoof*

yeah, these were just a few random frames from the movie; if I were to do the full thing it would have some sort of plot to it.

It's got potential and the frames you did are quite amusing. But Starship Troopers is one of those movies that are already funny, albeit with a dark sense of humour. It also isn't as well known as Matrix or Hackers. Don't get me wrong, ST owns and i'm sure you can make a worthy bastardization of it. (anything has to be better than Blade ... [wince] )

well...good start keep working, its not realy a bastardization if you just have random captions. you need to set up the bugs and infantry as two oposing forces that can end up in comical situations thru the screen captures, i like the dakitana one.maby if you want a game theme it whould be
somthing like ... console gamers vs xbox

Cool. Though it seems to be far behind in the polls, I like frame 4 the best. Keep at it. I must admit that cr0bar has the parody-while-holding-some-semblance-of-a-plot thing down to a 't'------------------
