I went into town the other day to buy myself a new calculator, get on the bus, and an old man looking at an Argos catalogue starts moaning at me about why they don't say how big the slices of bread a toaster can accommodate. He seemed really concerned about the possibility of buying a toaster with too narrow slots (he liked thick toast). Yes.. ------------------
