Why aren't there any moderators yet? I think eng_man should be the moderator of the classroom (his threads are responsible for 1/5th of all the posts in here anyway). I also think Ray should be the moderator of SW:E4 (because he has his own basterdation) and Hellraiser the moderator for the rants section (because he's the most mature of most of us).------------------

I don't think cr0bar believes we need to be moderated (just look at the Rants forum description). He can admin them all, and the only thing I think he'd delete is someone posting 50 messages with the same thing, or maybe someone harassing someone else.

Well thanks for that vote of confidence Anztac, but that's cr0's decision, not mine. And I'm not about to bother him by asking either, if he needs help I'm sure he'll ask, if not let the BBS goes the way it goes. We really haven't had a need for moderators ... yet  ------------------

What, me mature? I'm not sure I can agree with that  . But thanks for the vote of confidence. eng_man would be good for the job I think. But cr0 has the final say of course, and this forum is less than a week old.

helraiser has over 100 posts. eng has 60, lizzy has 78, Ray has 12, marc has almost 50. all the people on or mentioned in this thread comprise of 1/3 of all the total posts.------------------

Why was Ray even mentioned? 12 posts?Is there that big a gap between the prolific posters and the "regular" BBS'er? Even though there has been a lot of posts there really hasn't been a need to have any of the threads moderated. I'm sure if there is cr0 can handle it (let's hope). ------------------

I rummage through this board every day. I just don't post unless I feel like it. If you want to feel vindicated, I can go post a reply to every subject, and even make a few of my own. But we all know that would only be proof of the fact that I have waaaaaaaay too much free time on my hands. Wait....I probably already proved that by visiting here quite a few times a day.Oh, and that's 13 posts now.

Yeah, but like everybody is forseeing stuff about wars in the future and stuff, I will foresee that user #200 will be a l33t lam0r posting hundreds of hundreds of messages containing spam in l33tsp34k...

I really dont this this board need mods now. One person(cr0) can easily mod 500 or so posters. But there may come a time, when spammers/porno-posterz/warez monkeyz hit the board, that mods will be needed.
