Personally, I like mcdonalds. I have to idea what I'm eathing and I like it that way. Their vanilla shakes are CRAP though, they don't even taste CLOSE to vanilla. I like burger king even more the mcdonalds, especially their fries, but there aren't as many burger kings around so I don't got there very often. Wendys and Roy Rogers are pretty good, but same situation as burger king. Boston Market kicks ass, their food tastes great! Taco bell and KFC are just total crap though.
edit: oh yeah and mcdonalds breakfast bagles are GREAT!

Burger King is the sovereign of all burger joints. The Mickey D's bagels are of moderate quality, however.
Taco Bell is cat food.
About the vanilla milkshakes - apart from the coffee, they're the best thing they sell. A McDonalds vanilla shake can serve as lunch if there ain't a way of getting some decent food.

And Jack in the Box rules. The commercials are funny, and you can get anything at all there to eat. However, I've always been partial to Arby's. I worked there, once upon a time. I became partial to their roast beef, and to their chicken (the best in the market). And, the frozen cookies stolen from the freezer were the best. mmmm...

Hmm, i agree that they're not really all that vanilla tasting, but IMO they are nice in their own right..
KFC isn't all that bad, their burgers are nice, but they're too small.

Yeah, they actually do. It's not really all that surprising or shocking, here you're allowed to drink alcohol at age 16 (yeah right, 5 years before some US states!), so they don't have to bother much with under-age laws. I can't say whether it's good or bad beer there from personal experience as I never drink beer, but I've been told their beer rather sux.

Wisconsin was one of the last holdouts, with drinking age at 19 for a few years. Finally, they gave in (because Wisconsin roads get beat up pretty good) and went to 21.
I was 15 when I visited Germany, and they didn't have any problem with selling me anything. I didn't have an ID yet... because I was 15. Didn't matter, though, since nobody asked. Hell, went to a school party and they were selling beer AT SCHOOL!!!! Kids were drinking and smoking during the school day between classes, and nobody cared. If they got too drunk, they were sent home for being an ass.
I don't know, man. I think I like that attitude better... much more like college. Don't be an ass, do your work, and you'll be fine.
Oh, and KFC is too expensive, and Burger King chicken sandwiches rule because juice drips out of them. Also, Dairy Queen has the best fries around. They taste like egg.

Anyway, Burger King's the best but it's way too expensive and there seems to be so much more choise there after being at McDonalds. their fries are awesome though. Or at least were. Their old fries were dubbed 'Stealth Fries' because they had a special coating like the bombers, everyone loved them but now they've pulled them. Bullshit.

Yeah it is quite nice. The actual law says 16 for stuff like wine, beer, cocktails, etc. and 18 for the drinks with higher percentage, vodka, whiskey and the like, but actually, you can get practically everything because they hardly ever ask for your ID. Now, on one hand that's quite nice, but on the other hand it makes people start drinking alcohol at parties quite early, and then later when they get their driver's licence (here that's only at age 18), there are a lot of accidents and deaths because of drunk driving.
About drinking and smoking during the school day - I can't really imagine that. The age limit for smoking is 16, too, in this country but at school usually people aren't allowed to smoke except outside. And alcohol is sometimes allowed at school parties, but usually only in VERY limited and controlled quantities.
