Ok... for customers there's 6 stalls in the women's bathroom and 4 in the men's (plus 3 urinals). Now over the past 3 months I've been monitoring the stalls for both.

What we can extract and LEARN from this data is that A LOT of people skip the first stall because they assume it is used the most. However, SO MANY people have this impulse that it's used the LEAST! And the one furthest from the entry... the most!

I always use the first stall just for that reason

and i usually skip the stalls altogether, if i cant use the urinals, i keep it till i get home. i feel safer. i think at college im going to designate one of the public stalls mine, and put a nice shed lock on the door

Actually... no. The womens' bathroom are in general much more messy (lots of stuff on the floor to sweep up). But it's rare to find a DISSASTER AREA in a women's stall.
