I dunno, I just started doing that a lot a long time ago. It's the way I talk. I drag out my sentence a lot. I don't hold that last sylabol like some people, I just kind of have that elipse or whatever it's called most the time when I say something... I dunno why I posted this, someone was asking me about it today on IRC...

the ELIPSIS (what y'all are talking about) is a very good writing tool... it allows you more control over the pacing of your writing, which is often ignored in Formal Writing.

If you want to get straight to the point, use Formal Grammar. Artistic writing should take it's time and make it sound cool.

Yea... I use dots more then just about anyone here.
...mainly because that’s the only type of punctuation I know...

i Know what ya mean DKB. For a long time last year I was doing the smilies because everyone on IRC always thought I was being serious about jokes and crap... idiots... Don't matter, all those UnderNet bastards payed! BUAH-HAHAHAHA!
