But I despise our society and most things it has created. Morally, I could only contribute to my idea of it, which would first require the destruction of current society (and, of course, civilization).

You obviously are a very closed minded person and wouldn't have anything interesting to contribute idea-wise to society. I'm sorry, I just can't stand exostensialisim some times. Also above that your logic is horrible: Society sucks, I couldn't try to make it better it sucks so bad... Huh? if it sucks strive to improve it. Seriously, most people you will meet are good people. Some are idiots, some are jackasses, some are perky, that doesn't mean they're bad people. It seems to me that most people are really nice, but there's this social barrier, a need to be accepted, so they change their outward behaviour to make themselves fit in.
