I was shopping yesterday. Turns out they sell jeans with glittering color on them for around 150$. Turns out further that these appear to be totally hip this year. Conclusion: all the fashion victims will struggle to get the money and buy one, and as soon as they haven't, will be jealous of everyone who already has.

Cost of silver glitter color for textile fibres: 2.49$
Cost of old jeans: 0$
Time to "paint" jeans: 15 minutes (including a lot of fun)

Look on the face of the fashion victims when I'll wear the "designer jeans": PRICELESS!

Not to sound materialistic...but I have the most dope pair of sunglasses. Oakley X-Metal Romeo's...they are so booty. Oh god. I'm getting excited just thinking about them...

:P

Who cares what people wears? To each their own! I tend to think that the only people who say shit about fashion either can't afford to buy those really nice pair of pants or are just to fat-assed to look good in them...

There's this guy at my school who went to the prom in a pair of pants he made himself; He took a normal pair of slacks and completely covered tehm in vertical strips of Duct tape, they looked really cool.
Now thats style

Where can you buy gap/DKNY stuff for 20$??? Tell me where and I'll only run around in those... I've been looking for a decent cargo for about 2 years now, and never found anything. So my painted jeans will have to do...
Dammit... I just realized there isn't even a gap store in this city.

I wish I were born a man. I really wish. It would save lots of trouble and money.

Oh and btw... CK, didn't you forget "sunglasses: oakley"?

jeans and t-shirts. maybe a button down shirt. No fucken ties!

Even at work. I do get the non blue type jeans for work. If i did not work in the Data Center i would drag out the shorts and sandles.

Sunglasses, i still have my Gargoyles from the mid 80s. got to love the wrap-around mirrors.

The fucking designers can take their clothes and go fuck themselves.

Wow. I wear whatever smells clean off my floor...

But seriously, who the fuck cares? I haven't paid more than 40$ for anything I own, and I proud of that. Labels? "Designer clothes?" Who the fuck cares? If YOU like it than that's all that matters.
Peace.

Wow I love you guys! Finally people with a healthy opinion on clothes.

I hate those people who are like "what designer brand?" and then, according to whether it's expensive enough, say "nice" or snort. My school consists of them... some even make "polo parties", where you go all dressed up in Ralph Lauren stuff. Now how fucked up is that?!?

I like making fun of them. I only wear things I really like, and that are comfortable, and cheap. And if sometimes they want their show, they can have it. I laugh my ass off afterward.

The closest thing to "designer" clothes that I have is a Nike cap that was given to me. Other than that, I avoid brand names like the plague. It's easy enough to avoid shit like Tommy, Gap and Polo ...

"I'm not paying โ for that t-shirt just because that fucking horse is on it."
- Stomper, in the middle of a crowded mall

... but since I'm a "young urban male" I'm expected to wear "skater" brand clothing, with names like "ECKO", "QuikSilver", "Threadz" and ...

"What's the new brand name in skater pants today? 'ICantFuckingSpellWorthSHIT'?"
- Stomper, during the same visit

... and the best part is that even though I normally have a 32 waist (yes, I know, I'm a fucking beanpole), I'd have to buy 28 "skater" pants in order for them to fit!

If this keeps up, I'm starting my own clothing line. Gonna sew em all myself. (Yes, there is such a thing as a straight man who can sew - me.)

End rant.

lol. i just wear what i like. i always have. sometimes what i wear is in fashion, sometimes it isn't. but it's coincidence hehe

im usually in t-shirt - jeans/combats - paraboots/trainers. the only times i wear proper shoes are in interviews and some nightclubs. same goes for proper button-up shirts most of the time.

I just wear what I think is cool... Jeans (or jean shorts, if the weather calls), concert t-shirt from some band I like (mostly ICP or Twiztid), Boston Red Sox hat (for the 3 years I wore a Yankees hat, they won the World Series... who knows, maybe I'm good luck for baseball teams ), and my shoes, which are either "street" shoes (vans) or basketball shoes (even though I don't play the sport...)

Once I finish up a couple more designs, I'm gonna be making my own t-shirts. So far I got this cool design from a few ICP pic's, and on the back it's got the lyrics from one of their songs, and another that says "Take my Freedom" on the front and on the back has this huge essay on schools limiting our freedom... they're passing some rule that says you can't wear any of the close that I own at public schools...

ANYWAYS... sorry, I'm bored. fuck you if you have a problem with that, it's like 3:30pm and I just woke up an hour ago to find my ISP disconnects me after 15 minutes on my dialup because our DSL is active, and I can't get the DSL modem to work on my linux computer...
