I've been to the opera this afternoon and it was simply amazing. I saw "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini, and it is one of the greatest operas I've ever seen. Love, crime, despair, ideals, the fight for freedom... a strong woman and a beautiful man, and a villain as bad and evil as you can expect from an Italian opera.

The music is beautiful... dramatic and melodic, and full of expression. I really forgot everything around me for two and a half hours, which is rare with me. If you guys want to know what it sounds like, contact me on AIM or ICQ.

Oh and if anyone wants to come to the opera with me next time I go - let me know!

Wolfie... they point about opera is that they SING at each other. That's the whole difference, but it makes it soooo much more fun!
