i'm doing my major for Design & Tech, and i was thinking on building speakers...
the thing is, i need to improve on the design, make it different.

i was thinking of using ceramic pipes to reduce the vibration from the bass, and using silicon to seal up the pipe.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

you mean to reduce the resonance from the bass, right?

Same difference, unlike the difference between a McDonalds and a Jack In The Box burger. I'm sorry, but no one will come close to a Triple Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger from Jack In The Box. Ooh, and if you're a good customer, and the cashier doesn't look at you too funny, you can ask for a box of grease as dipping sauce for your burger! Whatta country!

So, is this another one of syf0n's - excuse me - "syf's" multiple aliases?

if you can actually do it:

use really thick foam for the outside of the woofer seal.. the woofer made of silk possibly.. differentiate the the shape of the magnet for either asthetics or usage (fitting).. anything can be done to speakers really.. seal the entire cone in that clear stuff that protects open circuit boards (forget the name) to reduce clutter of other materials covering the wires up.. *shrug* i'm just a babblin...
