Forum: The Classroom Topic: What This Forum Needs started by: shifter Posted by shifter on Aug. 27 2001,23:36
...is a good topic. It's sort of interesting how all of the good conversation magically dissappeared. I susect CatKnight is to blame for the creation of the Senior's Lounge, which is in turn responsible for the elimination of anything worthwhile in here. I bet that Snark never stopped to think that once the Senior's Lounge was made, and all of the seniors were admitted, he effectively killed the new user base of the forums...what passerby wants to read this trash? So now the Senior Lounge won't grow...Sort of reminds me of the porch full of old guys I see when I drive through the ghetto...all the new folks just laugh when they can't figure it out. first of all, very few posts have been made in the senior lounge since it was made. there have been only 3 new topics in the last 2 weeks. second, I didn't "kill he new user base", it was LAM0RS LIKE YOU THAT MADE THE SENIORS LEAVE.as you said yourself: so why don't you just "drive on through" and never post here again? You shout at him as if you weren't a lam0r yourself, CK.

CK, take a look at the thread index for this forum. You have started about seventy percent of all the new topics in the last few weeks. Now look how dumb they all are! Examples:Subject: < EAT ME! > Subject: < I'M BACK BABY > Subject: < windows rg >

I don't think that was a fair random sampling of my posts

CK, most of your recent topics in the classroom have been mad lame. . .don't argue it :-)That said the SL was created for the people who were entertaining the idea of leaving anyway due to the overall lameness of the classroom. It's the same net effect as far as non-members are concerned. There is a much improved signal to noise ratio on the SL, which is something I doubt can be accomplished in the public forums when you consider the standing population of morons and periodic influxes of newbies.
