the fact that you don't know what part I'm talking about when the topic is called "final challenge" means that you have not beaten max payne on the hardest difficulty level. ok you can sit back down now.

Well, you are correct, I didn't beat it on hardest difficulty because once I beat a game, its boring to me to play it again. Second, some people refer to the last stage in a agme or the last boss in a game as the "Final Challenge". quote:

Does that mean you're on your second or third time through?That game gets fucking hard. I started a second quest, but the first guys were as hard as the last guys on the easier version. What is the final challenge, exactly? Is it worth me getting back into playing it?

ah ha I beat it. took a bunch of tries but I figured it out. ere is my savegame if you want to play it, see if you are as l33t as me

Beating it on the hardest difficulty was quite hard. All of the enemies take a lot more damage, you die VERY quickly, and you only get 7 saves per chapter. After you win, there is a small room. You get 1 m4a1, 1 beratta, 1 jackhammer, 1 shotgun, 1 molotov and 8 painkillers. Once you enter the room you go into permanant bullet-time. On the opposite side of the room, killer suits start pouring out of two entrances on either side. I have seen about 10 come out from each side before I die. I guess you just have to kill them all, but it's rediculously hard. Even if you manage to take out a large chunk on one side and grab their ammo, the others have already surrounded you and you're screwed.

You posted a flame against CK after reading a single line post. You jumped to quick assumptions, and were wrong, twice. Whereas I, noticed that you were attacking a situation that you had no knowledge of. That on its own, is an indication of your intelligence. I have no intent to sit here and flame you.. I was just pointing out that you made a hasty judgement on CK's Post, in a sarcastic way.

go YouGonnaStopMe?! anyway, i tried your savegame last night... that was Fucking Hard. I still haven't beaten it yet. I did get to that M79 in the middle and made good use of the Maltov Cocktails. That was the best tactic.

Here's what I did to beat it. Grab all the weapons. Switch to m4. Run to right side and empty your m4 clip on the first 2 suits. Throw both molotov's into the entrance where the suits come out. Run back into middle, pick up gren launcher. Run out to left side, fire gren at group of suits coming from left entrance. Switch to ingrams. Take out remaining suits infront of left entrance. Switch to jackhammer, take out the last suits coming from right entrance, through the middle. The rest is cleanup.
