Well- even though it was mostly orientation we did have a test on Friday. That was probably one of the easiest things I will ever do in my three years here. Tomorrow starts the real classes and I am already here in the library doing work for class. Of course they are missing my contracts book which kind of sucks because that means that during my breaks tomorrow I am going to have to do my work. Well so much for things going smoothly this first week.
Anyway I figured all of you wanted to know how the first week went. I'll be back here and there to let you know when the pressure has gotten to me. Cross your fingers I make it this year.

Pfft.
Shes so got it covered. I reckon she will be sweet as.

It will be hard and long, but in the end people will be eating their words

The deciding factor is not the fact that she doesnt have the time to come here, but will be the fact that the time she does have, will be better spent elsewhere...

Edit: eye R gud speeler

I used to live right next to a law school campus. We would walk around in the schools barefoot with vegetable oil in our hair. Haha! We got alot of food that way.

The library was awesome. I found printable Beatles signatures. Which were totally useless but pretty neat none the less..

Good luck Chrissy. What kinda law are you doing?

I haven't taken a specific course of study right now this would be considered core stuff, I will get more choices as the years progress. I am intested in intellectual property law but its a difficult field to start out in. At this particular law school you can take a concentration but its not overly recommended because you need to pass the bar which isn't one specific type of law. Right now I just want to make it though the first semester.
Ok well off to work

Getting off on the right foot is a good thing. Making good impressions on your lecturers is a VERY good thing - they will go the extra mile for you.

Good luck Chrissy!

I agree w/ incubus. If you're on the prof's good side, life will be a bit easier. I have had profs change exam days for me and a friend when we had 2 other exams scheduled that same day. (Don't you love it how exams always seem to be scheduled at the same time?) It was a small class though, so it probably wasn't a big deal compared to dealing w/ 300 pepole.

There are only 270 kids in my entire class. I wish this was more like undergrad where I could smooze the teach for a good grade but the grade is pretty much based on an exam at the end of the semester or year in some cases. The chances of anyone remembering who I am...pretty slim
