Hello crObar. I just wondered about your policy on talking about trading software, pictures, etc. Are you cool with having that stuff going on your site & forums or no? Thanks.
P.S. I thought it better to ask before I did anything.

I can try to answer your questions.

It's cr0bar, not crObar, just so he doesn't kick your ass.
We (ok, just cr0 really) don't like to talk about trading software (warez - my mommy told me anything with a z instead of an s is bad)
What the hell do you mean by pictures? Like pr0n? Uh, no.

but this really isnt the place. which is a bad thing.

I don't think there's a set policy on it, but I think this fits in with the general feelings of the old-timers here :

- Out of respect for cr0bar, don't offer, request, or link to warez on the boards. There are plenty of other sites on the Net to offer or get them. Let cr0bar run his site in peace.

If you want to talk about warez in a general sort of way (i.e. something you got off a warez site) that's OK, but again - DO NOT OFFER, REQUEST, or LINK them on the boards.

- Don't post pr0n on the boards. #1, this usually violates someone's copyright, which makes problems for cr0bar. #2, a lot of us, including myself, like to browse Detnet at work. By keeping the site pr0n-free you make sure that a lot of the really good members can continue to post.

- Violation of these guidelines will get you a gentle explanation if you're cool, a drink from the flamethrower if you're an asshole, or your post removed & the thread locked/deleted if it's *really* bad. If you persist, your account will be closed. If you persist further, you will be < syf0nized > - a horrible fate, and one that syf0n most richly deserved.

I'd pay for DetNet.

I mean, I do post 70 times per day. I think I use up more than my fair share of cr0's bandwidth.
