Topic: where do U work?

What do all of you do for a living? If you are in college, what are you studying and what kind of job would you like to get when you graduate? Any plans on going back to college to get a higher degree? I'm currently working on my BS in nuclear engineering, and i'll probably work at a power plant when i graduate. after i pay off my loans i'll go back to get a phd in nuclear physics. w00t

I've got a BSc(Hons) in physics from < Curtin University of Technology > (I officially graduate from Honours on the 12 Feb)

I'm starting my PhD in physics this year.

Which reminds me, I have to go and see my supervisor and pick a research topic....

Doing BSc Computing: Networks & Communications, year 1 of 4. Did half a Chemistry degree, too.

I do IT administration at a ludicrously rich girls school in Rose Bay. I actually just started today and have to fill up time this afternoon. My last job was also at a girls school. It ain't the picnic you might think it is.. especially after signing child protection clauses and contracts.

Basically I surf the internet all day and get paids boat loads of money to do it.

I work at Best Buy. Not extravagant, but they discount is good.
Senior in high school, going to Iowa State next fall. I'm planning on a compsci/engineering double... i want to do internet security.

I thought about getting a part time job at Best Buy scritly for the discount!

By FAR my favorite store to shop in. (this doesn't include on-line shopping, sometimes you just can't wait!)

I'm living proof that dreams do come true.

I graduated from Engineering School last May, and was immediately found by a ūBill company with a small group building a skunkworks project out in Arizona. I'm THE software guy until we hire a partner for me. I have my own office (door and all), a decent computer, a beautiful desk, a halogen lamp, a cell phone, my own beautiful stapler, and I pretty much have free reign on my attire. I make drastic recommendations for the project, and I am listened to and we go with them. I have toys, I have the MSDN subscription, and it's all good fun.

Course, it helps that I'm damn good.

Myself, I work at a small hardware company(CARTS llc) doing a bunch of stuff. Embedded systems programming, windows programming (blech), setting up linux servers, putting PCs together, taking out garbage.. :]
And i'm a CS major at Cal State San marcos.

Yes, it is in fact a Swingline. I specifically picked it out because of that. However, it's a black one, not read. I feel so cheap and used.

We're actually trying to hire a second software person right now. If you have good database programming, C++, network programming experience and are interested in learning VisStudio.NET and also learning WinCE 3.0, let me know. All these skills useful. Hurry, though. We've been interviewing all week so far (3 today).
