Well just found out this really cool girl I've been hanging out with all semester does have a boyfriend. I think I'm gonna give up now. I apparantly have such terrible luck with these things. This is the third time this has happened this year. I met a really cool unique girl, get to know her, start to really like her, then find out she has a boyfriend. I think I'm gonna give up. The scary thing is, I'm starting to like being a loner. What am I supposed to do?

Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice, for I'm in a similiar situation... Women suck, unless you are going out with one.. Then, she sucks too.. but in a different, more welcomed way.. err, but yeah, anyways.. Yeah, the girl I desire has a bf and has for a few years (they are high school seniors). I'm a junior, and shes just perfect in every way, except she's with him, not me. So that sucks. She went with me to my junior prom and since then, I've been in love.. I haven't seen her online for a few days, nor have I spoken to her since last Tuesday, so I miss her and shit. Also,... Actually, I'm outta stuff to say. Good luck to you cat

Me to except there is a chick that likes me. Before you say anything she is... well, yeah... not that great. On top of that she is the Principals daughter. Most of the girls I like have boyfriends or do other undesirable things (smoke). Or they "just want to be friends" it really sucks. The last time I wen't out with some one was 2-3 years ago and i'm use to being alone and don't really mind. I just figure that going without for so long makes it better... ------------------

when you consider giving up you might as well 'cos obviously your feelings aren't that strong, can we all say Infatuation?. B4 you get a girlfriend you should get some normal friends, no offense but you said you were a "loner", that way you will have something to fall back on when she rips your still beating heart out of your chest and laughs while your trusting innocense slowly dies..., sorry this subject makes me remmeber things alcohol just can't erase, maybe i should try trauma induced amneasea.edit- bye bye heart. i was in a loving mood when i wrote this hence the heart. i now realize the error of my ways. is this better?

no no you misunderstand the problem. these rare individuals are perfect for me, not perfect in general. i smoke, so does she. she's an astrophysics major too! and another thing, she (and other girls i feel htis way about) have really cool boyfriends that I (could) be good friends with. im not such a bastard that they hope they breakup cuz they look happy together. *sigh*

Well... my high school daze taught me one important lesson. Everyone DOES not have an equal opportunity to get the chicks they want. And for some, no amount of coaching or planning will EVER help.However, when you look at HER boyfriend, do you see someone who is ALSO perfect for her? PROBABLY NOT! So you answer is... to have a girlfriend, you some times have to look for someone who isn't 100\% perfect for you. Try dating someone who you wouldn't normally consider COMPLETELY your type. Mabey you'll grow into her... if not, at least you won't be lonely, and you'll have some leverage for getting a better girlfriend! ------------------

hey, how did it go with that chick and you? that journal thing of yours went bye-bye.ive almost given up on chicks (no, dont even think it). so im just gonna wait till them come to me, or i get a golden opportunity. theres only one chick that i really, madly want right now. i know she knows i exist. hell, i know her damn family (long story), but i just cant bring myself to talk to her.

i just found out that this guy i have just sort of crushed on from afar for about 4 years now has a girlfriend. but i found out the wrong way...i tried to kiss him when i was drunk at a party last weekend. bad move. that was the first time a guy ever stopped me from kissing him and that feeling of utter stupidity is enough to make me not try again for a long time i'm sure. it sucks more too because he wouldn't let me walk away until i promised i wouldn't act weird the next time i saw him and i see him every day because our classes are all in the same building! i feel so dumb!
