I bought a slice of cheesecake to eat after my sandwhich. I consumed the sandwhich, but then decided to indulge myself by not eating the cheesecake quite yet. I'd let my taste buds settle, and prepare myself for the ecstasy. Then I waited some more. Then I pondered, what if I was the cheesecake, about to be eaten? Would it not be cruel to delay the inevitable by mere moments? Is the cheesecake's last precious moments of life important?

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

I hope you're refridgerating that cheesecake, or it will get the last laugh when you keel over from food poisoning.

Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony.

Anyhow, I'm just surprised- of all the things you COULD think of, why the cheesecake thing? Dammit man, just eat the damn thing and put that cheesecakes worrying out of it's misery.

game?!?!?!?!?!? thats the fuckin matrix dude. when he says that hes talking about how its ironic that we used to live off the machines, but then they lived off us....somethin like that...GAME?!?!?!? oi vey!

game?

matrix, man. the matrix.

by the way, why didn't they make a matrix video game? seems like that would make a kick ass fps...

*ahem* back to the topic at hand...

after further consideration, I realized that no matter what time frame or mathod occurs, the cheesecake will at some point meet it's demise. reflecting on the practices of euthanasia, who's purpose is to relief suffering, I have decided to consume the cheesecake.

*snarf* *gobble* *chow* *chomp* *slurp*

Maybe they will if the matrix 2 and 3 turn out to be as popular as the first...

I think solid was saying it was a game as a kinda little joke, BTW

I think they had a Matrix total conversion for Half-life... but I could be wrong...

(I'm not going to quote this properly) You know that the cheese cake isn't real. When you bite into it, your brain tells you is squishy and rich and sweet... ignorance is bliss (you get the point)

have you seen the matrix? how the hell do you make a sequel to a movie with no plot to speak of. i guess you could start over and have the "real world" be another matrix. *lame* it would be a sweet level game but fps? i am more old school when it comes to games. mario bros 3 now that was entertaining.

Download 3Dmark 2001. Part of the test, and demo, is a recreation of the lobby scene. Kinda cool.

On a side note; the (demo) tree scene = ownz my system, (about 5 fps @ 1024 X 768 32bit) but makes me want to cream my pants. Sooooooooooooooooooo cool.

Did you ever think that the cheesecake wants to be eaten?

By being eaten, you are fulfilling its purpose in this universe.

Why do you mock it by teasing it, by not eating it?

Done with programmable pixel shaders, but unfortunately only the Geforce 3 has programmable pixel shaders, so it kinda has to emulate the pixel shader in software to do the scene, hence 5FPS..
