It's great that they aren't releasing a SE cause like most people I already have the DVD. I'm always reluctant to buy a movie that isn't SE cause it'd be a waste if they release an SE.

i dont use ign anymore cos of that gay faggot ass insider subscription thing. (every main story is now only accesable to insder subscribers) just like i dont use planetarion anymore. cos it aint free no more. though with all respect to planetarion they do deserve to make money out of that idea i just cant afford to spend that recklessly...well until i rip off the loans office >:] ------------------

Some stores actually released the DVDs before today. So the special Ep 1 website had a message with Jar Jar (I fucking hate him!) saying that they'll have to wait till today to access the stuff. Supposedly Lucas is gonna release the Ep 2 trailer on the site before Nov 2 when it gets released with Monster Inc.

Now that I actually clicked the link, I think that's a brilliant idea. I'm pretty sure that everybody who wanted to buy The Matrix has done it already... if it wasn't the first DVD they ever owned. I'd hate to buy it again.What pisses me off is that I've got The Professional, but not the uncut version. I have Crouching Tiger, and a SuperBit version just came out. The list goes on with incrementally better versions of movies I already have being available for ฤ+. That upsets me.

A Superbit DVD is not really a special edition of a DVD cause they don't have any extra features. Like the name sort of implies the extra space gained from having no features is put towards having twice as many digital bits for the video and audio. There are only a few Superbit DVDs out right now, Desperado, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Fifth Element, Air Force One and Johnny Mnemonic.

extras piss me off. i want to watch the film i couldnt give a fuck how they made it or why the director only ate jam donuts for lunch during the filming. it completely destroys the whole fantasy element of the film------------------
