Everytime I see a photo of a Detvet, they're white guys and the occasional white girl.I'm not at all rascist, just wondering what the breakdown is.

Racially I call what I am light skinned European. I am of European ancestry but I refuse to be called Caucasian, and I hate being lumped into the W.A.S.P category, sorry but my ancestry was white but were not Anglo Saxon or protestant. Ethnicly I am a W.C.A. White Celtic atheist.

Typical White MuttFather's side:
Hillbilly - My father's family lived on Brushy Mountain, West Viginia for 300 years ...since before WV was even a state. They still lack plumbing. My father was the first person in his family to ever go to college. Before that the family is Irish. Blake is one of the 12 original tribes of Gallway.
Mother's Side:
Italian - My mother's maiden name is D'Addio ...yes, pronounced Daddy-O. Her parents are from Naples. I thankfully escaped Catholic school.
My chix0r is Flip ...I guess Pacific Islander or Asian. Not that she posts here ..but one day she might, so at least you have a heads up not to make jokes about mail-order brides, the Navy, or nursing as a profession.

My father is 50% Irish 25% welsh, 25% German but his last name and my last name is German. My mother is 50% German, 50% too mixed to count, her mother’s family goes back to Plymouth colony in 1620 on the mayflower you know puritan types, so it is pretty much impossible to trace her ancestry, what we do know is that she has some native American somewhere but more than 4 generations back and mixed scotch-Irish Scottish English German, Irish, welsh, etc. etc. you get the idea. In terms of religious background my family is odd also, my material German grandfather is Lutheran who married a catholic, whose father was a Methodist. My paternal grandfather was the child of Catholics but his maternal grandfather was most likey a German Jew. But i am an atheist, my sister and brother are both agnostic.

As far me, I am a typical American mutt. Best I Could tell you is about 50% Native American (Creek), 25% Scottish, and 25% German. A little French, African, and English mixed in there somewhere. Percentages too small to count.

Mostly Russian and Ukrainian here on both mother's and father's side. I am sure there's some polish and probably even jewish mixed somewhere in there.
