I don't know about either of those... I've never seen them, but it seems to me South Park is already making fun of stuff, and pretty funny, so it wouldn't work too well. As for Fight Club, I would think it's too serious to make fun of really, but then again I've never seen it.

I would like to see a Titanic bastardization... I think that has the potential to be funny as hell.

Titanic would rock, its fucking long though, the bastardization (someone explain where this word came from, please?) would be ~50 pages long, if not longer...

I actually thought of doing a Titanic bastardization ... then I remembered. I've never seen the movie (and pride myself on that fact.) There is a good reason for that, it's a total chick flick. Not like I don't know what happens anyway. =)

Enemy of the state would suck... I loved the movie but I dont think I'd like a bastardization..

Am I the only one to have wasted money to rent the old "porno" called "orgy of the dead" now thiws would make a perfect bastardization - and i can tell you al for sure, due to the low stadards in porn back when it was filmed, no bare bodies are slown, and the crash in the begining is especialy impressive HAHAH

the ultimate bastardization movie....Strange Days....id do it, but i dont wanna learn how to do screenshots...plus i only work with widescreen, anything else is just evil.

I tihnk 'the net' would lend itself extremely well to a basterization. The star wars one is alright so far, i'm looking forward to seeing SOMETHING new. and I hope cr0 doesent run out of ideas. i know i would.

we had to analyze it in english class...it took all the fun out, cause instead of watching, i had to look for different things and it sucked...but you cant bastardize princess bride for the same reason holy grail didnt work...

i havent seen Titan AE yet, is it that good? i think a bastardization of speed could be good, but would it be long enough? seems there is a lot of stuff in that movie that arent interesting enough to be bastardized. and i think doing titanic would be a damn good idea.

rig_hater's picks for bastardizations:
(in this order)
1) Romeo Must Die
2) The Net
3) Johnny Mnemonic
4) Fight Club

Reasons:
1) This one's just prime for it - you've got the killer fight scenes (it's got sweet fx when bones break), it's got the boy meets girl plot that begs for humiliation, and the gang scene...perfect!!
2) The Net is just begging to be bastardized, and already has all the essential wanna-be-techie stuff
3) See above post re: dolphins
4) It's already got the twisted plot, a perfect setup for warping more.

bastardisation of Speed ..thats been done its called speed 2! and i know a site where u can download the first 15 eppisodes, but it is generation 2 so it has all that shitty cube stuff in it, transformers kicked ass!

Transformers kicked ass, but I don't see how it could be bastardized, though cr0bar would find a way. Has anyone seen the Voltron Fleet of Doom special? It's an hour long movie where both Voltrons fight the evil together. I taped it in the 80's and even though the new computer animated Voltron episodes totally fucked the original idea, and made it cutesy and marketable, Voltron is my all time fav. Enough of T.V., here is a short list of movies to give cr0 some ideas.
1. Transformers
2. Voltron Fleet of Doom Special
3. The Abyss (a classic)
4. Wargames
5. Independence Day (stupid movie)
6. Chill Factor (never saw it)
7. Terminator
8. Terminator II (a sequel bastardization?)

I know it's short, but I might post some later.

why the hell havent they done a Terminator3?? am i the only one that thinks they really should? i mean, theres a damn good chance that whoever did it would fuck it all up and it would suck harder then the bitch on the nearest corner. but theres the slim chance it would be good as hell. and the longer they wait, the bigger the chances that arnold will suck at it. and if they did do a T3, what should the plot be?

transformers movie was the absolute best lil cartoon movie i ever saw, right up to the point where kup and the junk bots started "talkin tv"... that was just a lil too wierd... what really kicked ass though was when omni(uni-?)cron was crushing the junkbots ship and they were all running around with blowtorches putting it back together about as fast as he could crush it.

Unicron ruled! Transformers would make a great bastardization. I still love that movie (I used to rent that all the time when I was little. Then the weird little cult video store that had it went out of business, and I didn't get to see it again until Hollywood Video started stocking it.)

My top five suggestions are:

1.) Pi, even tho it is almost TOO l33t to be bastardized.
2.) Scanners. Yeah.
3.) Deadly Friend....Oh holy lord above, anyone ever seen Wes Craven's WORST MOVIE EVER?
4.) Evolver (why don't they ever show that on Sci-Fi Channel anymore...?)
5.) As mentioned above, Transformer: THE MOVIE.

Runners up would have to be Virus, Terminator 2, and Predator. (Weren't they all the same movie? No, one of 'em didn't have Schwarzenegger)

The stupid cinescape people put some JS in or something so it goes into frames with banners right away, but the article is dated June 22, so you can find it that way. Or you can turn off JS.
