I should run this poll every so often.I have so much fun here I forget to ask what others think!
Please, no whining about bringing back Jason.
I don't think he's coming back.
I would be interested in ideas that could actually get done.

I Googled it and came up dry.I'm still surprised no one caught my "bread and circuses" reference in my Jim/rant the other night.
If I recall, it was a triple-innuendo and I was proud of it.
I guess I can be too subtle sometimes...

Detnet could use a lot less threads about what detnet is lacking.How about the effort you put into these threads, you put into finding something to stick on the front page.... like, news of the day or something.

I think kuru hit the nail on the head. detnet is still plenty o' fun, but it could use some more front page news. It doesn't get updated often enough!some of your posts would make good news items, especially the ones about really weird things you've discovered on the 'net.
I emailed you the instructions for posting a news item a while back. If you've lost them, email me and I'll send them to you again.
All moderators/admins are welcome to make news posts. Regular members can email posts to me and I'll put them up if I think they're worthwhile.

My email is fux0red AGAIN this year but I can access the old stuff.I've been thinking about that front page stuff.
Wolf kinda had it covered and I was content to let it be, but after a while I started to notice lots of stuff about bullies, terrorists, rights... all news, for sure, but not really what Detnet's focus could be.
My impression is it's about computers, internet, gaming, that sort.
If I don't drink myself completely blind this holiday, I'll start feeling guilty and then I'll make a stab at it.
You really think I find interesting 'net stuff?
I found one site so interesting I won't post about it here. Thank God it doesn't have forums.
It has flash with *content*
Am I correct in understanding that most Detvets don't like Flash on the front page? (hint)

Flash is cool for making menus, navbars, and the like, but I *hate* all-Flash pages. There's nothing worse than a site that has a front page that's 500K in size.

Im just one person and only post things that really piss me off.
Since most of the stupid things in the world piss me off...
