dude those are even more cheesy. first of all, voice recording mic's on a minidisc player can't record in stereo, let alone dolby surround or whatever. I suspect that the moto cycle engine noise was dubbed in because it moves around the channels (all 4), and doesn't coincide with the position of the cop's voice. so even if it was a stereo mic, the cop and the motorcycle don't come from the same place. furthermore, I don't even think that engine noise is a motorcycle, ask l33t hax0r about that. the guy's voices (yours) also sound very rehearsed, like a bad actor.

OK, lemme explain in slight detail:The "stereo seperation" seems odd because while I was talking to the COP-MAN I didn't have the mic pointed at him. I thought that it may have been rude to approch the officer in the dark with a black-hand-held object pointed directly at him. The officer clearly saw that I had something in my hand, and was polite enough to not take it from me.
Now then, while I was chatting with ol' COP-HOG-MAN the mic was pointed at the ground. This would explain why the seperation sounds so fucked up. Mabey you should tilt your head 90degrees while litening to it. lol.
So the motorcycle (which did sound in need of a tune up) was ideling about a foot away from me with the officer perched on top of it. SO the officers voice SHOULD sound a bit miss-directed, since he was completely behind the mic.
What Im trying to say is that the recording environment was not your typical friendly-recording atmosphere- I mean JEEEEEZ we were practically being arrested, I wasn't about to point the mic in the cops face!!!!!!!!!!!!

The simple fact that the recording sounds WHACK (plus, don't forget that this is an MP3 we are talking about - mp3's go thru strict digital comression and the reson we put up a small-low badwitdth mp3 is because the origional file is to HUGE to post) just goes to show that this was NOT PLANNED, it was a SPUR-OF -THE-MOMENT occurence for fuck-sake.

I don't think they would have half-assed it if it WAS faked. They know too much about sound equipment to not know how to make it sound real.And BTW, it sounded like a real engine, but because the sound is so bad (he hid the mic in his hand) I can see how people would think it's fake. I was never 100% sure it was faked, it just sound very suspicious to me, and the more I listened to it the more odd it sounded. Maybe it wasn't faked, I don't know, but the fact that you guys screamed at me in such a childish manner just made my suspicions grow. If you had just explained everything in one post without resorting to trolling me in 3 different boards I would have believed you right off the bat. This goes for stuff in the politics forum as well. You guys always deride me for never changing my opinion on anything, but that's because you guys are too immature to have a real debate.
