Today is take your children to work day and I get to entertain the kids in the office for one hour. I don't know the first thing about kids. I am just hoping I don't break one of them....damn, they're already here!! Posted by kuru on Apr. 25 2002,17:41
Show them how to use the fax machine and the photocopier. Then leave them alone for 2 hours with about 50 reams of paper.

I pawned them off on the cashier. I was starting to feel like a cattle rancher for a bit. I made up a matching game with things I had in my office and then my secretary made up a scavenger hunt for them. Unfortunatly she included a dollar bill in the hunt and then all the sceaming kids came running back to me for cash.I got rolled by some 7-12 year olds. And just FYI ...kids aren't at all interested in CNBC Posted by kuru on Apr. 25 2002,19:01
No kiddin?I think it's because most of them are hooked on CNN Financial News. Posted by Wiley on Apr. 25 2002,23:52
Never Ever Ever take 12 kids to McDonalds for lunch!!Today I learned- Boys go to college to get more knowledge and girls go to Jupiter to get more stupider. I also learned the birth control is the greatest thing ever!! Posted by ic0n0 on Apr. 26 2002,00:14
I hope these are not your kids, and why did you get stuck with other peoples kids?

I think the problem is more that, no one person should ever have to be responsible for 12 kids.

I don't know how I got stuck with them. All of managment was supposed to have them for 1/2 hour each to kinda show them what we do in a typical day (we didn't want them out on the trading desks where most of their parents were) The kids just didn't want to leave my office ...mainly because there are really cool toys and I have a 50" plasma television. So, when lunch rolled around all the other execs snuck away leaving me with the kids. So I took them to McDonalds due to lack of a better plan. When I got back to the office I gave them calculators and duffle bags from our supply room and threw them in my bosses office.
