Hey, I'm heading out to Oahu in a few days, until the 25th. I remember some of you saying you lived in/are from Hawaii...just wondering if you had any advice for shit to do.

Things involving women, narcotics, and gas-powered vehicles are definitely preferred.

Visting friends, actually. My buddy's been living there for the past four years, and just got out of the Marines. He's got a place behind Diamondhead full of wacky kids, I guess, so it should be pretty wild.

I'm sure he'll be showing us around, but I think he has to work during the week...so my travel buddy and I will be off exploring a lot of the time.

I went to Maui last year, and really loved it. I'm thinking about going island hopping if it's not too pricey and there isn't that much to do on Oahu.

However, something tells me there's plenty to do on Oahu. Just gotta find out.

I just spent a week in hawaii. Probably the best thing besides seeing my girlfriend was snorkling in pa'nama (sp?) bay. Lots of tropical fish and if you are lucky sea turtles. The turtles are amazing to swim with, so peaceful and serene.

North shore is definately cool if you want to get away from people. I was blown away by how big and citified honolulu is and I had to get away. Northshore is more the Hawaii I imagined...

Definately drive around the island. Stop by one of the little fruit booths by the side of the road as you go and get soem fresh sliced pineapple, mango, etc... mmmmmmmmm.

The Arizona was cool, go early or you won't get tickets. There is a really neat submarine museum next to it too.

As far as women and alcohol the mai thai bar in honolulu can't be beat. Great lookign girls, live music, and cheap drinks. My girlfriend works there, if you go and your server is named Hannah tell her "matt says hi" and she'll take good care of you :P

its haunama bay. personally having lived in hawaii for 19 years, i find it rather boring. If you like hiking and/or the beach, there will be lots to do. inter island tickets usually cost around 贄 round trip. as far as narcotics go, i have heard that hawaii has some of the best pot in the world, but i really wouldnt know about that.

i know you probably didn't mean to, but that is really disrespectful. The Arizona, as in the USS Arizona is sitting on the bottom of Pearl Harbor, with thousands of men still inside the watery tomb, and you say it's 'cool'.

also having lived within the confines of Oahu for 19 years I must recommend the pot. if you find it, it reallys quite good, but its also a bit on the expensive side. you can find an O anywhere from 軸-1000 dollars. depending on the quality. it can be lower, but thats usually not too good. you can find lots and lots of crack in chinatown. hm..... what else, theres a lot, look around. alot of whores can be found on hotel st. or in waikiki. but there are also alot of police around there too so you can take your chances. there a few good clubs there, not many. the raves are also pretty good. i think that you should probably go to waikiki and take some surfing lessons, surfing can be extremely enjoyable, although i prefer boogie boarding, or sponging, whatever. hiking is really good on Oahu, and i do recommmend driving around the island, but dont get out of your car in Makaha, Wahiawa, or Waipahu. if you hear the term slippers dont try to use your lame ass term, "sandles" or even worse, "flip-flops" or you'll get your haole ass whupped. other than that, have fun explore. and all the rest

All right...so, right now I'm sitting on my friend's porch in Kaimuki, getting drunk, spilling beer on this laptop here. We brought our own weed...some really nice Newport cyrpto, but it's almost gone now. I'm looking forward to some Hawaii grass. I met some locals when we went out surfing today that said they could hook us up. Really nice people around here, that's for sure.

Thanks for the tips, btw (though I'm probably going to stay away from the whores ). This place is a fucking hive of hot ass. Christ, it gets me so frustrated. Hopefully I'll find some touristy chicks with the same mindset...tee hee.
