Strange coincidence, or evil omen? No one can be certain. But what we do know is that we must defend ourselves from the heinous evil that is ALF...

Molotovs. More molotovs!

I was hoping his return would only be in pog form.

Pog?
Jesus, i had repressed the memory of pogs...........  thank you very much for RUINING MY LIFE by making that evil resurface in my mind. nervous.gif

Oh no. No no no no no no no.

ANYTHING but pogs. ANYTHING.

For crying out loud I'd rather hear about the Power Rangers. What a horrible, scarring nightmare pogs were.

im guessing i missed pogs.

sounds like im lucky.

Seeing Alf again was kind of creepy.  When will the TV people there are just some things left alone.

Bad enough we have to deal with that satanic purple thing and its minions...

Don't be insulting a perfectly good devil with talk like that!

I used to love Alf.  I had Alf underwear.  I still have all my pogs, in some of those pog containers.  I got some huge assfucking smasher things...  I forgot what they're called though... And power rangers started to suck once they got rid of the floating head guy.
Posted by CatKnight on Feb. 19 2002,20:03
started to suck? as if they didn't suck from the begining?
Posted by BlackFlag on Feb. 19 2002,20:26
Power Rangers was at the hight of its limited coolness when the green ranger had just joined the team.  It all went downhill really fucking quickly from there.
Posted by TheTaxMan on Feb. 19 2002,22:21
Oh my God.

How anyone can even contest that Power Rangers was ever a good show boggles my mind.  That was (is?) total crap at its best.
Posted by Spydir on Feb. 20 2002,01:07
oh, power rangers was fucking shit in a bucket of shit made of shit.  But I still watched it and bought the toys.

I was sheltered as a child. Never saw the Power Rangers; didn't know what football was until the 4th grade, didn't know the rules till the 7th, and still can't play it. Did catch an episode of Power Rangers on some crappy local station a couple days ago. I don't think I missed much.

I vaguely remember when pogs were cool; I think had some... I do remember that I used to collect Star Wars cards, and I actually have some left. $12 for a Blizzard Scout, anyone?

I made a small fortune on star wars cards, when they first came out they weren't all that popular and I picked up a shit load of limited edition darth vaders for $10 and re-sold them for about $50 a pop a few years later.

As a 6th grader, I 'earned' about $100 in one year. My friends were nuts about these cards, so I picked up a pack for $2. They liked some of my cards, and offered me $5 for one of them. I took the $5, bought another pack, and sold them the cards from that. The best part was they thought they were ripping me off.

also about alf, I was reading an article about this very thing (ALF) and apparently 80s crap in general are really hot marketing properties, and the ad agency that got ALF is planning on using him a bunch or something.
