BTW, hello again, although it's not even as if any of you heartless bastards knew I'd gone.

I've been told that on the day of the WTC bombing that few Jewish workers failed to turn up. I don't know exactly how many or how accurate I can be so I'll just say approximately 4000 or so, give or take a hundred.

Obviously I don't know if it's true or not but the guy who told me was certain it was and that there were investigations going on because it sounds quite strange that one ethnic group would all have a cold on the day their place of work got demolished.

I've also heard that the threat of planes being used as suicide bombs has been around for a while and that Genoa even placed anti aircraft sites around the city during the G* summit just in case because the Egyptians had information that an attack had been planned.

I'm not really one for conspiracy theories so I doubt this one's veracity but I thought i'd share it with the group anyway.
cheers

My buddy sent me a page that has a really good set of Urban Legands about this attack. This is on the list:

"This story emanated from from Pravda and Al-Manar Television, the pro-Palestinian "Channel of Arabs and Muslims". "

edit: here's another link: < http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/266/nation/Improbable_theories_have_wide_acceptance+.shtml >
