I got the password from the source, but it doesn't work - and I don't see any mangling going on in the script. So I'm wondering if maybe my browser or his code is fux0red.

Hint: the levels are all easy, and all you really have to use is notepad up to level 5. On level five, you'll need to use a more advanced tool to get past the VB app.

Can anyone get level6 actually working? I'm running it on my Win2K box, and all it does is to start up and shut down (no password prompt or anything). My Packet sniffer says it's not generating any network traffic either. Annoying.

Level 3 is tricky but this contest requires no real hacking skills. I've been working on it for about 5 minutes. I'm downloading JDK now and level 4 will be a thing of the past shortly.

Update: Why don't they just call this shit Try2Edit contest. All you do is edit the source files etc. to find the passwords. Pretty lame if you ask me.
