What should i go for?
Posted by PTL on Feb. 13 2002,04:30
You can ALWAYS bum food off of people!  You can't bum bandwidth.
Think son, think!
Posted by ic0n0 on Feb. 13 2002,04:41
Bandwidth it is!
Posted by askheaves on Feb. 13 2002,05:13
It's funny because it's relevant.
Posted by veistran on Feb. 13 2002,05:54
It's also easier to convince people to give you free food than it is free bandwidth, plus it's a lot easier to hide your stolen food if it comes to it stealing one or the other.

Mr Ic0no,
is it down to food or ISP?
for real?
I thought it was Heaves and Jimi who were broke, sort of, and the new-old guy.   So, do you need food?  If you really do, and I don't think so, just say so!
heheheh
that would be an interesting topic to post!
 heheheh

porn...food....porn....food.....PORN!!! go for bandwidth!
Posted by Del7a on Feb. 13 2002,16:25
Again, for some odd reason, I can't vote.

Anyway...Depends on who the broadband providor is.  And what kind of food you are getting :)

But really, the human body can survive several days without food, but I'd be hard pressed to give up broadband (if I had it...I do at work and it is niiiiice.)

I’m down to paying my cable/internet bill every month and eating lots of ramen noodles or eating well and having no cable/internet.

Hey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with eating Ramen.  If it wasn't for that miracle food thousands of college students would die every year.

If you are handy with a stove try this:  If you run into a bit of money, buy some boneless chicken (this works better if you have chicken Ramen).  Cube the chicken and fry it in a skillit on low to med heat.  While that is cooking, boil the ramen noodles as usual.  Drain, mix in seasonings, and set aside for a moment.  After the chicken is done cooking up, add a bit of water to the Ramen (not much), and mix the noodles with the chicken.  On Med. heat, cook for a few mins stirring constantly.  After all is well mixed, press the noodle and chicken mix down to make a thick "pancake".  Let set over med heat for a few moments.  Remove from heat, and eat.  If you plan ahead you can make a couple meals from this.

This also works if you use beef and beef flavored Ramen.

Food. Never heard of anyone playing with bandwith in certain situations... ;)
Posted by ic0n0 on Feb. 13 2002,18:51
I hardly need a food drive, give the food to some homeless person not me; I have plenty of stored body fat.
Posted by Rshias on Feb. 13 2002,19:23

Go with the bandwidth.  You can always hit up the soup kitchens if need be.
Posted by Spydir on Feb. 13 2002,20:13
get bandwidth and download the food.  the technology is there, but you need a fat bandwidth pipe to do it...
Posted by editor on Feb. 13 2002,20:54
I hear rabbit tastes quite *yummy*!

Ic0n0, good to hear you have some body fat! ?  My other offer still stands, if you're interested!

Hope you aren't talking about the pancake bunny.  That guy would most likely kill himself if anything happened to Ooglong.

Oh my god.

It's rabbit vs. the pancakes revisited.
Posted by editor on Feb. 13 2002,23:15
Bring on the bunnies!  Any Playboy ones?  Not to um...eat...anyways.

I like Mac and Cheese can I can swallow it without chewing it.  I can almost drink it.  Now that's Fast Food!

Dood, if you get desperate join < Pine Cone Research > they send you free samples of crap and you test them out in your home, then fill out an online survey and then they send you a check for 5.00 dollars.  Mom does it, we get free food all the time, not saying we need it, its funny, got a box of Chex the other day.

edit: friggin ib code

eww.  ???
are asian people the only ones who eat ramen straight up or something?

Posted by veistran on Feb. 14 2002,04:57
Probably not... but why wonder?

Broadband:

more Email, DetNet, Porn.
Posted by DuSTman on Mar. 03 2002,13:49
Well, if you're starving you can easily sneak out in the middle of the night, kill a duck and eat its meat. Can't do that with bandwidth (unless you live near the the home of the fabled bandwidth bear)
