"If you're not an environmentalist, you're suicidal and should seek counciling"

That was a bumper sticker I saw on my way home tonight. It would have been ok if it were on an electric car or something, but it was on the back of this Hyundai POS with the muffler falling off, burning oil, and generally polluting more in that trip than my car did last year.

Aside from that irony, I think that example speaks volumes about environmentalism. I wanted to run her off the road and ask her:
"If you're so concerned about the environment, why don't you own a cleaner car?"

I know the answer would have been:
"Because I can't afford a better car."

At which point I would have asked her to qualify when it's more important to go into the red and save the world than it is to be able to eat/make profit. Just a thought.

they think the caves were a bad idea and we should of stayed in the trees. The truely hardcore ones think that the tress were a bad idea and we should of never grew legs and left the water.

me and me mates were have a "heated discussion" (read us shouting at each other) in between lectures today about why i think theres nothing wrong with eating meat and my mate thought it was wrong. it wasnt that i dont like vegetarians and can see their point of view it was just he was saying that i was ignorant for not realising he was right. he thinks people who dont eat fruit cos it hurts the trees have a point btw. it got pretty ridiculous to say the least.

thats fricking scientific atheists for you.

if you think about it, raising millions of chickens, cows, etc, in terrible conditions, just to be slaughtered and eaten, is a terrible thing!

but they taste so good!
