Latest info as I understand it;Wiley is making a temp site until Richard can re-create his super site, but R says it'll be another month...erk...
Remember the PM is buggy; 2 admins are looking into it, just use the email for now.
I believe it was CatKnight who wanted new smilies and I added all the optional ones in the admin CP, like 25 more, and I don't see them here. Maybe there's a limit to the # we can use. Could you look into that, CK?
DSL has kindly adjusted the colors; perhaps this news is superfluous, or perhaps you haven't clicked on your option to see it. The detnet logo is one thing I've been trying to upload. I wonder if the security is set too high....hmmm
I'm having difficulty FTPing into detonate. Real difficulty. The kind that F1 doesn't help with. I've sent for help! and I hope to have that licked soon. Well, actually, it will HAVE to be...
There are a couple articles in progress for the new site so there'll be something to look at when you get there.

see its easy to add default smilies. the problem is I needing you to upload those smilies to the ikonboard dir so I can add the new ones.

Well, I've uploaded into Detonate before, and now it won't let me. I get *part* of an error message, and if we can't resolve it tomorrow, I'll contact the webhost. He's a very busy person!

I contacted the web host about getting mod_perl up and running to make Ikonboard faster. He informs me that the last time he tried it, it broke mod_ssl, but he's going to try again when the server gets upgraded in a few days.I feel for the guy. I've got mod_perl running, but it broke .so support so I can't run PHP. Why does such good software have to have such a crappy installation?

Out of curiosity is the site gonna match this colour scheme cos if it doesn't I imagine that being quite well... yukAlso please don't give Spydir a monkey smiley, he insults me enough as it is I don't need something visual to help him too.

Matching the site to the board is a very *interesting * idea!!!However, from looking at Wiley's mockup, that's not in the works right now...
RT's site would be available around March 1st, he says, and I have no idea what it might look like finished, just the sample files he has online.
Pity about the white around the smilies....perhaps when the FTP is resolved, we can upload the ones that CatKnight likes. It was CK, yes?

Sorry Spydir, no monkey smilies in the bank but there's a dark weird one with something on it's head you might like....and I added a couple more too. That's most of the smilies in admin.

Isn't the Ying Yang representing good (white) and evil (black), I think if I know my stuff rightley it means there is a bit of good in evil and a bit of evil in good.Well put Jimi...

Yin and Yang have nothing to do with good and evil directly. It's all about the balance in the universe. You can interpret that a number of ways (fruits/veggies, good/evil, sappy romances/jackie chan...)

Very classy, now I again have that problem that i'm laughing and all the people around me think i'm insane...How am I supposed to explain these little outbursts, yes I enjoy my work so much I find it has an axcellent humourous quality.
Not as bad as the insanitity test race car though... Oh dear, i'm still laughing about that.

ying yangs represent the balance of universal matters. male/female, good/evil, light/dark, etc. It was originated by Taoists, but a lot of people associate with Buddhists, which isn't really a problem because many of the teachings of both go hand in hand. = buttfucked by
