I thought this would be an interesting poll to post; it will give us all an idea of the distribution of the community. I can make a map if we can get a lot of information.

I forgot about canada...it happens. I am working on a map of detneters in the U.S. at the momemnt and after i get enough information i will move on to europe and the rest of the world like australia. Anyway i do need people to post there locations becasue i can not guess your specific location from the poll. It would be impossable to have all 50 states and all that nations of the world up there.

Here is an example of the type of map i am making this is a prototype.

Well considering the regions of the poll are missing a few areas even w/in the US, I'm in the MidSouth area.

I'll be here in lil' ol' norwich in norfolk, in england, in the UK for a good while now. Just a bit of Jimi general knowledge, I was ten days late at birth so as I was kinda not expected I was born in my own house. I still live in the very same house now, I am two rooms away from where I was concieved and born.

The problem with adding dots is that not everyone has said where specifly they live, and in some big states like PA and texas californa that would be weird to place them in the center of the state or something like that. I may add city locations after peoples names if you want but it would just be messy to have lots of dots. I will do what the majority wants dots(may not be Accurate) or what i was doing please tell me what you want. Maybe dots and shaded states on one map.

Just to be picky, Portland should be at the corner of the other bay (one 'step' down and left)  :p  That dot would put me up in Camden or so. Everything north of Portland is basically a wasteland merging into the blight that is Canada.  :0

Just curious as to why there are 3 western selections but no eastern ones in the poll? I just found that strange. Anyway, I'm in Largo, FL. Its in Pinellas County which is that little penisulla next to Tampa.

In fact there are two eastern sections New England and mid-atlantic. The only area in the U.S.) that i should have added more sections to was the south and added a canada option, but the west is a much larger area than the east. And we midwesterners are not the really in the east or west.

Not trying to be picky as it is a great map, very well layed out and clear. Nut I should be a bout a mm up at the top of the nobbly bit on the UK.

Where I am at the minute is close but not quite there, i'm not bothered if it is a hassle to change it as it is pretty accurate.

Also the new guy who now posts here is a friend of mine (goes by the name 'theafro';) he is also in the same place as me.

I know I told icono I'd take over with keeping the map uptodate, but suddenly it was lost (atleast all I'm getting is a good ol' red x now).  If anyone has a copy, email it to me at the email in my profile.  I'll get to work on adding you people who just said it tomorrow, or whenever I get the map, and maybe I'll blow it up a little so you can read it a little better/I can fit people in better...
