I thought the preview looked good, I never actually saw the first one, I just heard it was good.

That is not legally a preview. It's a teaser that shows 1 clip from the movie and the rest cool graphics and promo footage.

blade 1 would have been a good movie if they didn't try to scientifically explain how vampires work. can anyone say mediclorites?

ultraviolet explained everything in a totally kickass way. and for pure storyline and emotion beats buffy and blade hands down and still puts some damn good action in as well. oh wait forgot this is an english tv series i'm talking about here that got aired like 4-5 years ago so probably 99% of the people here dont know what i'm talking about (so no change there then) oh well your loss

the problem with mediclorites or "abnormal blood cells" is that it takes all of the mystique out of the idea of something metaphysical, magical, and unreal. We all know jedi and vampires don't exist. so why try to explain how they could in a movie? just leave it up to the viewer's imagination.

Thats just it though, no one wants to think nemore, use their imagination, everything is fact or will be proven as a a fact. Most mystical or fantasy things have become the past. The only people that truely believe those things are children and those hard-core comic book types (along with trekies and star war fanatics).

i'm not complaining about fantasy and such i.e LOTR but if you're gonna set it in a a modern day and REAL setting then it should be based on REALITY in some form. they diodnt need to introduce the midiclorines crap in star wars cos its so blatantly NOT real but you still get films today that get away with modern day vampires and shit without the science stuff.
