I'm the first one to say it officially: HAPPY NEW YEAR! In Germany, it's 2002 now, so I'm living in a different year than you guys for the next couple hours...

Oh, and since about half an hour the Euro is the official currency around here. Wow.

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! :)

that's some scarry poop. on a lighter note, happy new year from d.c. I watched a 4 hour law & order marathon until midnight so my back hurts :p atleast 2001 is finally over. what a crappy year.

And creepy. Yeah, stayed up till this late, watched it all, drank some champagne, the whole lot. The only trouble was I wasn't able to get a new year's kiss from anyone... no single girls at the party without commitments... :(

well, its currently 3ish am.. and I've been up since 6am yesterday morning (21 hours for those of you keeping track) on 5 hours sleep. I had to work a 9 (11 if you count travelling time, which isn't paid for) hour shift today.

Yay, its the new year, and I celebrated stone cold sober, and without my girlfriend. But I did get to play some fun hockey anyway.

Still not what I had wanted to do for new years at all, but I shouldn't be surprised.

Happy new year everyone, I wish you all the best.

Indeed. A happy new year to all. I hope everyone had a great new year's eve, I saw in the new year with some friends by doing eyeball shots with vodka. Amazing Night. Alas, I'm in Hellraiser's boat, no kisses for me.  ???
Posted by LiNeY on Jan. 01 2002,17:20
... hey, there were no kisses for me either.

And yeah, CK, I agree, the Euro is crap. But what's a girl to do?

1st of all: Happy new year to you all!

Anyway, those €uro banknotes look sloppy and tasteless, but anyhow, politicians think it was a good idea. Me too, for about five minutes.

The Euro looks like kid's playing money to me... :)

Quick translation:

European Central Bank offers free ad to Debian, by printing Debian logo
on 5 EUR banknotes (the most used). A small bemol, the logo is reversed
and they forgot Debian rulez.
