If somebody wants to download these and mirror them please do so because they will not be up for too long. There are on my own ADSL and i am not planning on keeping the server up for more then a day or so.

these are on webhost, taking up some of my personal space (I got a porno, err, "picture" gallery to run here!), and probably gonna kill a bunch of my bandwidth. So take your pick, and host 'em yourself for others. I have no problem DCC"ing them to you over IRC, but if you want them you gotta join #detnet in efnet and wait for me to wake up. Don't start bitching, either.

BUAHAHAH! That's precisely why I bought detnet! The first Matrix parody is ready to go to the host, just waiting on the homepage which may be ready by Monday. Don't quote me! I plan to post all the parodies! However, my webmaster found out how much time it takes and he's not happy. I'll take care of him! Please don't flame the webmasters. There are about 3 so far. Don't worry, I'm paying lots of attention. I don't have the time to explore all the forums, though. If you see something that concerns me, feel free to email a link. I have to tend to my day job too! kbreak

MORE GOOD NEWS!The formatting of the parodies is finished!
The original Matrix will have a single popup window with nav tabs
The other parodies will look very similar to Cr0bar's last setup, with 6 pix per page to scroll thru. This was not my first choice. I wanted 4 pix/page so there'd be no scrolling. Perhaps some of you with different screen rez's won't have to, I'm too busy to try it out.
My webdesigner is waiting to hear from the webhoster to begin the upload! As in now, Saturday night, 815pm Pacific!
Gawd I love that this is coming together!
If you're able to see the detonate page that's up, you can thank Richard Thompson, resident genius, who's here on the forums often. My webdesigner intends to add a tab on that page which will open with a menu of parodies to click thru.
It's possible the webhost isn't going to give the server codes to anyone at all! Now, why do you suppose he'd do that? I wouldn't blame him, would you? It may slow things down a bit though.
Will There Be More Parodies?
Answer: yes, if you people out there will craft some! I may ask cr0bar for permission to run his old page on how to do it right. We'll see!

hey whiskey; this has got to be the last thing I write tonight. I've had a headache for 3 days running, since I'm sitting on the computer staring at the screen....
I would love new bastardizations. Without new content, detnet will die.
I've showed many people who come over to my photo studio who have seen the movie. Some are computer-literate and just spit everywhere at the jokes, some of which I don't get!
If the community will contribute, I will post. I'm not as smart as half the community, but I paid out for it, and I'll work on keeping it alive. If I can't do it, I'll try to place detnet with a responsible owner. I was *shocked* when I saw cr0's notice that the site had run its course.
I did something.
I bought it.
I'm getting a crash course in computers, internet, and human politix. An ex-girlfriend is supposed to come over Sunday and show me. Yah, that's how much I know about computers...check back a month from now and see if there's a difference!
What I'm good at is finding things. I found this, yes?
I'm going to find content. I have to.
I'm a *really* fast 'n good surfer!
I want this to live, and I've spent the dough to prove it.
Sorry I started to rant, been writing here and on Masterslate for about 3 hrs. And answering email. And worrying.
I think it works like this;
You all want to see content, yes?
You send me content which I post.
Someone else says, "I could do better than that" and they send in their own work.
You react to that and send in something new.
All of a sudden, the site is living and there's something new to look at every few days!
Gawd, if I'm wrong, tell me now!
I've literally bet money that the community will come thru. Isn't that what you all want?
Call to arms, community! If you want detnet to live, act now!

OK kidz, reckon you know by now the parodies are up. That was a dandy Xmas present from the webhoster who went beyond the call of duty and took initiative!Yes, the server's a bit slow.
If you're on a dialup, firstly, get broadband! 2nd, you can try the original Matrix parody. It loads only one frame at a time.
I won't be on the forums as much as before; have to find content!
