on ebay it says $1000and it has been said that the new owner has already been found
so does that mean that the site went for that much money, or was that just random bidding and in reality the site was sold for less?

well, it was in the four figures, and it was quite a bit over a grand. at least on my budget. I'm the new owner, you can call me kbreak.

Yep, it's going to be a rough ride for me.I'd like to preserve cr0bar's work and still have a living web site.
I'm making a lot of mistakes. I can take advice.
However when you enter, detonate.net , there will be content and not an error 404 message.
content is coming soon, if I have a say in it.
I would like to unplug the computer now as the lightning is returning.

The silence is noticeable.
It looks like the only new content is what I get out and find.
I'm happy to say that there's new content on the way. There may be the beginnings of a website by Monday!
Again, if you want to see new original content, show me! I'm happy to take advice and correct mistakes!
Without the community, there's not much of a future for detnet.

I really have no idea what to tell you Kbreak, only that if some n00b was to dis cr0 as Joe just did, cr0 would have come up with a very witty and clever retort.If i'm wrong detnet please speak now, but i'm pretty sure i'm not and everyone respected cr0 for that. So you could try not being such a push over, especialy to n00bs.

Damn! I don't visit for a little while and look what happens! I'm going to have to stop disappearing before something tragic happens to detnet. Best of luck with the site Kbreak, and I agree w/the advice already been given in this thread. Don't allow members (esp. noobs) to run you over. This is your show. Take that authority.

wtf did you buy this site for? Best thing to do is host these fourms on a public server that is free and has as little banners as possible and make it run/owned by the members.
detonate = cr0bar and without him it's nothing. The fourms can live on if they are moved out to a new place on their own.
Trust me, jump ship before it pulls you down with it.
