I just got this...
quote: Now I'm not going to rant about how stupid the people who forwarded this message are, because I have a question. WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION OF THE PERSON WHO CREATED IT!? What do THEY get out of? Does this somehow link back to them, or track who passes it, or something???? I just don't understand it!! Oh, and is it EVER possible that something like that could ACTUALLY work?? ------------------ Posted by jiggyfresh on Jun. 10 2001,00:21
WELL WHAT THE FUCK WAS IN THE CONTAINER!!------------------ quote: Posted by TheTaxMan on Jun. 10 2001,00:29
This is possibly the stupidest email I have ever seen. Did someone intentionally go through and screw with the spacing? I felt like a ttwo year old trying to read for the first time...> > > > > > > See I think someone should slay whoever wrote that... Enjoy, damn it. the reason people send those things is because it's funny. I wrote 15 different letters like that 2 and a half letters ago. Within the last 3 months, I've gotten 4 of them forwarded to me, from people I don't really know (and on different email addresses). It's pretty much impossible for the email to send anything back to the originator unless the email either a) stayed on a mailserver inwhich the person has access to the mail logs, or b) the person included an attachment inwhich would send back an email once it was forwarded, which would be pretty hard to do. For the question of "could it work?", yeah, it could. As long as the message goes between people running systems about the same (windows) and they're all using email programs that can run VBScript attachments (I don't think we have to go over that), all the person would have to do is write a script that reads the forward to: field, then once the requirements are set it pops up some stupid windows with whatever was in the container... and for jiggy, I know what was in the container. But to find out, you have to send this thread to 15 people, or buy me a bag of chips. And not those pussy ass little snack machine bags, one of those huge ass bags you get at one of those buy-in-bulk places. ------------------ Posted by Non on Jun. 10 2001,01:23

I mentioned Garfield since that's where (I assume) PG got the idea to ship unwanted characters there, as Garfield did repeatedly with Nermal.------------------ Posted by PersonGuy on Jun. 11 2001,22:44
