Ok, so who is she, really? I think there should be a lot of clues lying around this board to figure it out. I'm staying out of this from here on out, being that I actually know kuru in real life.So have at it! ------------------ This message has been edited by Observer on October 03, 2000 at 10:06 AM Posted by Wolfguard on Oct. 03 2000,14:50

quick, everyone from PA reply! offhand i'd say she might be going to CMU, seeing as you two know each other and you're over in that area....course, t'is a big state... This message has been edited by hyperponic on October 03, 2000 at 10:50 AM Posted by askheaves on Oct. 03 2000,15:43
Is this kuru?
Posted by nautilus on Oct. 03 2000,18:47
Umm not quite. I know both Observer and Kuru in real life, so I won't say too much either. I will say though that a lot of people seem to have some opinions of who she is and isn't that are way off base.

i think it's only fair that i leave this thread alone. i'm obviously far too biased to post. but jim, just for the record, Observer's mentioned a few times that he has a girlfriend. ------------------ Posted by darksol on Oct. 03 2000,19:46
why does anyone really care?------------------ Posted by darksol on Oct. 03 2000,19:47
not that im trying to put down kuru, its just that why find out who she is and what shes like if the chances of you meeting her are amazingly slim.------------------ Posted by askheaves on Oct. 03 2000,20:01

im from VA, and everyone thinks im a hick because of it. and im not suprised, considering movies like remember the titans. the movie starts off "In Virginia, football is more important than Christmas." WTF????? ive lived here all my life and have yet to attend a football game. and for the record, people in northern VA DO NOT HAVE SOUTHERN ACCENTS. everyone in that movie had one, and i have never met a person who grew up in alexandria who had one. sorry, while we were talkign about where we were from, i felt the need to vent...on subject, i think kuru is just one of those AIs made by the government to distract the people at times of unrest, which is why she goes rants about things, it distracts us from the truth. that or she just likes to rant... quote: well I'd think that this post from the 'nicks' thread would give some help to who she is once depending on how you interpret it, or at least how she perceives herself I'd venture a way out guess that she probably has 1, _maybe_ 2 Frank Zappa records as well! heh heh ------------------ This message has been edited by aventari on October 03, 2000 at 07:39 PM Posted by Rol3x on Oct. 04 2000,00:39
im def down with finding out some more about kuru. i dont want to sound like an asshole here, but i feel somewhat responsible for sparking some of this interest in her. not all, but some. maybe im wrong. anyways, like ive said in many posts before, i want to see some pics of kuru real soon. and i wouldnt mind being one of her friends with benefits if it turns out that she is hot, which is my theory.

Hmm, I am from Virginia as well... no accents here. (Tidewater/Hampton Roads area).. now go up north a tiny bit up in Lancaster and they have some "country" accents...I say "ya'll" all the time... but it's more like "Hey guys, where ya'll wanna go eat?" Hehe ------------------ Posted by askheaves on Oct. 06 2000,15:47
Speaking of accents...I live in Tucson, AZ. Not one person here has an accent (except my coworker from Texas). Even black people don't have an inner city twang. It's creapy, actually, until you remember that everybody living here moved in from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, etc... |
