what's the point of urinals? do they offer any advantage over a toilet?

Any accidental spray isn't a problem.Harder to miss when drunk. You can lean on it for support. There's a smaller chance of seeing unflushed crap in it before you use it. ------------------ Posted by t|nt|n on Jun. 06 2001,13:05
I wouldn't say that they have an "advantage" as such, however, I did see an amusing thing last night.In the pub, drinking Guinness, as you do A woman walks into the mens toilet (an easy mistake??) She obviousl;y does not notice that there is one long urinal in there and 2 small cubicles, and obviously does what has to be done. A man then sees her going in the door and so he goes into the other door which is the door to the womens toilet. He obviously does not notice the lack or urinal and the copious amount of cubicles, he proceeds to do the neccessary. When the two come out they are greeted by a loud cheer from the other patrons. I am just really wondering if a woman went into the mens toilets by mistake would they stay there ???? P.S. i know a few girls who normally use guy bathrooms, especially if there is a line. they really dont mind going in the stalls even if other guys are around. i also know a girl who is living in a all-guys dorm. she even takes showers there. go figure.

I've heard that it takes women twice as long to use the restroom as it takes men. And that is just doing the necessary stuff, no extra primping or whatnot. Also, a single stall takes up much more room than a urinal. I think that is the main advantage to them. You can get like 2 or 3 urinals in place of one stall. So, not only can you get 3 men in for every 1 women, but you can send 2 men through in the time it takes for 1 women. Therefore, in the time and space that it takes 1 woman to use the bathroom, 6 men will have gotten through. That is why the lines are so long. Women just need to learn how to pee standing up, and then they can get urinals like men.
