How many of you guys have Mirc?

Does Det.net have an IRC room?
If so what is the server and room #?

I think a little live chat would be a really great way for the det.netters to mingle.
if you want you can Dl mirc and come to irc.dynamix.com port 6667 #detonate and hang out, see who shows or if there already is a place tell me please.

Havn't been there for a while myself, though. ( there was kinda a flurry of activity when it was first opened, then it got kinda boring. )

Hey, I'm not mean to all newbies. I'm mean to newbies that don't do research before they post something directly regarding detnet. Honestly, why wouldnt detonate.net have a friggen channel!? Most of the people that use detnet are very good with computers. This guy comes on and his first post is an insult to a longtime and well respected board member, so I was quite insulted myself. Then he goes and starts a thread (re: this thread) and says "I think a little live chat would be a really great way for the det.netters to mingle"

If 'det.netters' (usually refered to detnet, not det.net) wanted to 'mingle', they'd do so. noone cares about what some detnet newbie thinks about mingling.

Hmm, and threatening me by telling me to come on the channel and telling me you run the bots.. What the hell is that about? Thats just retarded. A threat like that is kinda pathetic. If i wanted to talk to people on irc, then i would, and you shouldn't prevent me from doing so. If you did, that would just be stupid.

Well, i hope you now undertand my POV.
