fuck you man, I want one again! Those things were the shit in first grade...

What's odd is I loaded this page, went to take a shit, and when I was "leaving a dump" I thought about how people try to fake how they don't remember stuff, like people who fake like they didn't know Wolverine's immune system was super l33t.

anyways... They made a cartoon of Bill and Ted's Exelent Adventure (don't even fake like you didn't watch that atleast once!)

People calling AOL and asking for disks (back in the 1.0 days)...

to finish off for now... MTV playing actually music videos...

I remember that week!!

Friendship braclets that someone had to teach you to tie with embroidery string---when I was in 5th grade they were the coolest thing on earth but I couldnt do them until I was in like 8th grade and then they weren't cool any more- always a day late and a dollar short.

And wearing two pairs of socks of different colors so that one went over the other so you could see both colors. How about pegged pants- I thought that was the coolest or beads on your moccasins--

God I miss my youth- I feel so old talking about this shit!

the biggest thing that no one mentioned--
Challenger Explosion

Oh, you're talking about 'Club Mario'!

quote:

Sit right back, hang on to your hat
Cause sattelite surfing is where it's at
At the club...
CLUB MARIO!

There was more to the song, but I can't remember it. And one of the hosts was named Tommy Treehugger.

My and my brothers used to video tape a spoof of it (when we where really young). My older brother sayed, "Hi! I'm Tommy Treehugger... I used to be Tommy Boodiddlyhugger, but one time I hugged a boo diddly and lost my fireballs and I couldn't kill Boss Bass. Ok... now here's THE FREAK for a great video game tip."

Camera cuts to my younger brother who is running in circles around a chair holding a NES controller and screaming. Then he stops and looks really wide eyed at the cammera and says, "IF YOU PRESS A... YOU JUMP! HAHAHAHA!" Then he goes back to freaking-out.

Camera cuts back to my older brother. "That was a great tip! Lets have Proffessor Dude demostrate it!

Camera cuts to me. "I will now demonstrait the A button trick." I hold up a NES controller and press the A button. Then I start jumping up and down frantically, "SEE! I'M JUMPING!" I keep jumping sideways off camera.

Camera cuts to older brother. "Thank-you Proffessor Dude! That's all for today. I'm Tommy Treehugger... I used to be Tommy Boodiddlyhugger, but one time I hugged a boo diddly and lost my fireballs and I couldn't kill Boss Bass. I'll see you next week."

ahhh... MEMORIES!

Anyway, last time I checked you can download all the Zelda eppisodes 1-13 plus 2 cameo Captin-N appearances < here >.

Oh ok... That's "The Super Mario Brother's Super Show".

That was the first season (the only season with Zelda cartoons). In the second season the 2 stoner guys hosted the Mario cartoons and they called it "Club Mario". The third season was just "Super Mario Brothers 3", and there weren't any hosts (just a deep voiced narrator. And finally (a couple years laters) "Super Mario World" had Yoshi who was the 'Scooby Doo' of the show and it sucked, so I can't remember much about that one.

I'm not sure if I still have that movie... I gotta look through my old home movies. I have a good one of me jumping in a snow bank naked somewhere in theres!
