Kevin Smith rocks my world!!! That dude knows whats really funny. My favorite so far is Dogma because of its irreligious look at the stupidity of religion.------------------ Posted by DeadAnztac on Dec. 09 2001,01:56
Hrmph. Religion, see the cat? See the cradle? ------------------ Posted by LazyGit on Dec. 09 2001,05:51
I saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back on Friday night (I then went and saw SpyGame for free afterwards because I'm a sneaky bastard) and I must say that it KFAs.I thinks there's a piss yourself every two minutes factor to this film which I think surpasses the South Park movie and possibly even Mallrats. I've seen all of Smith's other films and I've loved them all (even though Chasing Amy was a little bit poo) and I even saw Good Will Hunting. I think this may actually be biasing my opinion though because there are so many fucking nods towards his other films and jokes that you wouldn't really get unless you'd seen them. There's a whole world of new sayings and phrases that I have at my disposal now. Observe, I can even use them in a sentence: The two people I saw the film with thought it was a tad on the shit side though. The girl hated it, she was bitter that there were a bunch of good actors in it doing stupid stuff and the guy is a massive creep because he was laughing just as much as me but fancies the pants of the girl so he said he preferred SpyGame (which was a big pointless bag of wank). Am I behind the times here or has anyone else seen and loved this film? Actually, is there anyone else here who's a big fan of Kevin Smith, I think kuru is. But basically, if you aren't a fan you should watch some of his films and then you'll love him, his kind of humour is bound to work on people that come to detnet. Anyway, as I'm at university I think it's time to drink shome beersh and shmoke shome weed. Actually, I was quoting Cat's Cradle, by Vonnegut, not Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin, nor whatever-the-fuck miNus just quoted there.------------------ Posted by Rhydant on Dec. 11 2001,17:25
the best part in the movie is where the inviormentalist guy (the dude from snl) is running around firing his pistol aimlessly.Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! i laughed for weeks. ------------------ Posted by Cyrino on Dec. 12 2001,00:53
Shit beans! That was them, wasn't it?------------------ Bluntman & Chronic is the worst comic I ever read. Jay and Silent Bob are stupid characters. A couple of stoners who spout dumb-ass catch-phrases like a third rate 'Cheech and Chong' or 'Bill and Ted'. Fuck Jay and Silent Bob. Fuck them up their stupid asses. www.moviepoopshoot.com Posted by [liquid] meta on Dec. 12 2001,01:43
