I remember there was a thread about this a looong time ago, but here we go in no particular order:Matrix That's all I can think of off the top of my head... ------------------ Posted by Spydir Web on Apr. 17 2001,21:43
first... what did you like about hackers? I mean... it was truely lame. It sucked the almighty suckhood of suckage, it sucked so sucking sucker suck-suck bad.My fave of all time would have to be Flesh... only 5 copies in the whole world, so I doubt you've heard of it... It was a combination of small "films" (the longest segment was 15 minutes, roughly). It was a horror film, but not nessarily because of the sheer gore (and i mean gore. Sawed off shotgun in a guys mouth makes a mess...), or the sudden jumps, but because it really made you put yourself in the movie... like one part was of this 9 year old girl. She ran away from this sleepover, cuz the girls were either making fun of her or were playing a game (that was part of the horror, the segments just started with no story), and she ran home. She didn't want her mom to know she was there, so she hid in her closet. Then her mom came in her room, cut open part of her bed matress, and put some stuff in it. The girl was curious so she walked over to the bed, opened it up, and found her father, who went missing 5 years before, taking the "long sleep" in her matress... the mom was putting popouri (spelling?) in the matress to cover the smell... ------------------ Posted by Vulu on Apr. 17 2001,22:34
quote: heh, you have 1 post...that must suck the suckage right out of your sucky suck-suck... Oh: Matrix Another thing..."Dude, Where's my Car?!?" should be renamed "Dude, Where's my Nine Dollars?!?" EDIT - oh fuck off This message has been edited by Vulu on April 18, 2001 at 05:35 PM Posted by solid on Apr. 17 2001,22:49

Yah, < here >'s the old thread...Anywaze... Top 60 Favorite Movies ------------------ Posted by LazyGit on Apr. 21 2001,09:57
Damn it, why do people think that Fight Club is so good? What, because it's got clever little injokes it's supposed to be the best movie ever. It's good but it's a bit stupid. I just switched off when I saw the CCTV shots of Norton running through the carpark just flying around the place because he's supposedly hitting himself.Question: And why are people listing about fifty films? It's favourite films not films you like. If you honestly mean that all those films are your favourite then fine but I just can't really imagine d00d sitting around on a Saturday and thinking "Hmm I think I'll watch '8 heads in a duffel bag'" You don't have to pay any attention but if you were sent to a desert island and could only take one film with you what would it be (or three if you really are that indecisive (obviosuly PersonGuy isn't, he's got them in a chart!))? I'm gonna have to go for three films because I'm a finnicky fuck: Aliens Actually can I ask L33T_h4x0r_d00d why his favourite Alien films are Aliens and Ressurection? Do you actually not like Alien? Posted by kixzor2 on Apr. 21 2001,11:06

1. The Matrix2. The Princess Bride 3. Ladyhawke 4. The Star Wars Trilogy (can't distinguish between them for this list). 5. Willow 6. Pitch Black (Awesome imagery) 7. Monty Python's The Life of Brian 8. Gladiator 9. The Phantom Menace 10. Changes from time to time, but right now, I'd have to say its The Devil's Adovcate. 11. Shindler's List 12. Raiders of the Lost Ark 13. Entrapment 14. All four Lethal Weapons 15. Conspiracy Theory 16. Mask of Zorro 17. Braveheart 18. Shanghai Noon 19. Aliens 20. Stargate 21. I really shouldn't do this but: the Star Trek movies, particularly Insurrection. 22. Payback 23. The Cell 24. The 6th Sense 25. Dune (2000, the 1984 one while cool was not true to the book.) 26. Blade Runner 27. Gattaca 28. The Haunting 29. Sleepy Hollow 30. The 9th Gate 31. Titan AE 32. The Avengers 33. Return to Me (I'm a sucker for a good romance, and this was the best one I've seen in years) 34. Anything Disney, in particular: Snow White, Mulan, and A Bug's Life. 35. All Arnold movies, in particular: Junior. 36. The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games. Clear and Present Danger didn't do anything for me. 37. MI and MI2, possibly the coolest theatre flicks other than the Matrix that I have seen. 38. Mummy 1 and Mummy Returns, also great theatre flicks. 39. Charlies Angels, also a good theatre flick. 40. Jurasic Park movies 41. The Bounty 42. Splash 43. The Highlander Movies 44. The Patriot 45. The Fight Club (Pretty good, but not as high up as many people would put it) 46. Snatch 47. Starship Troopers 48. Edward Scissorhands 49. Red Planet 50. The Fifth Element Those are approximately in order in terms of my favorites. I've watched every one (well not every one but most) of them numerous times and would watch them at any time with a friend. ------------------ Posted by Vigilante on May 22 2001,02:41
