anyone else noticed that since syfnu7s came back, almost every thread has turned into a "you're a faggot! no, you're a queer!" thread? And then someone starts posting these lame "flamepics" as some of you call them, and it all goes to hell. I mean, holy pope piss, who cares?

Also... I dunno, maybe it's just me, but everyone seems to be illogical lately. I read something someone says, and it makes perfect sense, and some idiot goes off and takes it the completely wrong way, and then they twist the words around and shit. I mean, I knew people could be stupid, but damn.

So yeah... I bet you never saw this coming from me, but... <CK>These forums have become to childish!</CK>. Don't worry, I'm not going to go away claiming "I'm to mature for you" and then come back an hour later because these forums are my life because, well, they're not. So yeah...

oh yeah. Don't take this as me trying to play Mr. Moderator. I'm just making some observations I'm sure many of you have noticed.

Seriously, though, I only say things like that in deserving threads. Why, I have even made my attempt to start some more interesting threads (drumming, photography). They haven't done that bad....but still, not a whole lot of people post in them. That says to me: if people want flaming, they'll make flaming, and they'll get flaming.

Another thing you fail to realize is that the entirety of the time "syf" was gone, I was still here. Just using different names. And guess what! I acted exactly the same way. So don't think it's all in the name, and certainly don't try to lay all the blame on me just because you were offended by a flamepic.

It take two to tango. By the same token, I certainly can't invent arguments by myself. If you're pushing for a perfect little arguement free forum, then forget it. Banning me won't do a damned thing. And if you're pushing for threads with intelligence, then bump up some old ones, or start some new ones! But certainly don't go around starting arguments and then blame me for the lack of intelligence. Again: just because I pick a side in most of the arguments on this board doesn't mean I'm to blame for them.

He does have a point. He can make intelligent posts... WHEN HE WANTS TO. Which, I have to say, is quite outnumbered by the time when you just flame, syf.

How about this: we start a thread for FLAME PICS ONLY? That way we can get rid of our animal aggession and keep a neat and tidy forum too.

So I implore you (ALL OF US actually) to join the the International Detonate Flameout! today, and keep the flames out of REAL THREADS.

Well, there is always one factor that remains the same when you get into an argument or flamewar, syf... that'd be you. I don't think it's a coincidence. I haven't been in a whole lot of flamewars myself. Gotta wonder, because not a whole lot of people liked you under your assumed identities either, even when they weren't sure it was you. Somehow, though, people picked up on it.

Personally, I think you're a major buttmunch, but that's neither here nor there.

Can we agree to just stop taking these boards so seriously? I mean, it's just a website for chrissakes. I certainly hope that we all have lives outside of this.

The "Gay Wars" and flame wars are the simple result of insecurity, which has no place here. If someone shoots down your opinion, BIG FUCKING DEAL! It's not like they're a family member or coworker that you have to see on a daily basis. It's just some dumb shit probably hundreds or thousands of miles away (DKB). Deal with it. CK and Syfon act like jackasses, yes, but so do a lot of others. Once again, it's an issue of their insecurity. And, as evidenced earlier, they can make some quality posts.

Bottom line: bitching doesn't do any good. Good-natured flaming is fun, but getting angry about a web bulletin board is silly, childish and, yes, pathetic.

Just an opinion from one who is still a reletive n00b. Enjoy!

Syf0n just made a perfect example of my second point. I wasn't putting any blame on you, I was just noting that once your name came back up, everyone's gay except whoever's calling other people gay. I'm not asking for anyone to be banned, or anyone to mysteriously become their own personal geniuses, just that people take notice of their own faults and maybe say "hey, look at that, I'm an asshole, too!" and stop.

Also, I didn't take offense to any flamepic's. Personally, I think they're all pretty funny (and by funny, I mean stupid). Unless you meant the "taking offense" thing for someone else, you are wrong my friend! DREADFULLY WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I have kept my flaming to a min, and really don't say much unless I feel its needed. I do remember the past and the present with syf. Yeah we all make mistakes and so more than others.. and heck some of us are just our own way. (No Offense Intended) Even though Syf comes off as an arse sometimes, give the boy credit he trys. As for the flame out, I agree flaming is just stupid and it makes life no fun. But I agree I keep my flames out so why can't everyone else.

Also, personally, I hate dysoderia more. I hate syf a lot, but truely, my first impressions of dysoderia have not left, and probably won't. I'm talking about way back when he was going on about how humans are viruses and we should all kill ourselves...
