God damnit, their forums were my source of most of my reading material. Don't get me wrong - I love detnet, there just aren't enough posts to hold my interest for more than a little while each day.

I would hope that anyone who visited there would donate a bit to Lowtax. It's one of, if not THE BEST sites on the net. It would be such a shame to not have somethingawful anymore..

ps i just donated a substantial sum, I hope that enough people feel the same way as I to keep teh funnay going

I've never really been into something awful.. since a few months ago, i've vowed to never go there again, no matter what. This dude lowtax constantly takes the site down saying "I'm done! forever the end!" then its back up a few days later. What a dumb publicity stunt and I just find it stupid that people keep going back again and again to this person who keeps on doing that. Sorry, just my opinion.

i seriously doubt it's a publicity stunt. The one thing lowtax doesn't want is more publicity. You know how much his server bills cost?? Thousands of dollars a month.

"Well just run ads" you say. Well the internet marketers are a bunch of fucktards. Remember SafeAudit??? Well Lowtax has been screwed for over ุ,000 by these guys.
Servers dont run on hopes and wishes.

The SA Forums probably account for 80-90\% of Lowtax's site income. Heck, even I've given him ten bucks.

Still, the whole gimmick of being a dick on the forums, etc. is the greatest source of comedy those two have going for them...the gas chamber, the constant bannings, etc. It's less of a discussion, and more of a wacky endurance contest now.

Anyway, I personally like the SA forums a lot more than the main page. Well...I used to, at least...before all the funny people left.

I pray he doesn't take out the forums, thats the best part of the site for sure. And I agree that Zack isn't the a funny as R-Lo or cr0, but he's not bad.
I'd rather have an update by him than no update at all.

The best part about the forums for me is the photoshop hilarity. I mean, they started the all your base craze for christ's sake!

Grrr... I think the solution to his problems would be simple.

1. Take out the forums. That's what's killing him.

2. Take out Zack. He's just not funny. When I see that the update is by him, I move on.

Over a year ago, I started reading his site when he did the FPS Game Developer Survivor. And, I found the rest of the site hilarious. The forums were a side note. Lowtax is an amazing talent. It would be a shame to never see anymore of his work.
