some hostility here. i have always appreciated ck's posts, innane thought they may be. yes he has a sense of humor, regardless of how sick and twisted it may be. while 9/11 was a horrible tragedy, there is a funny little thing called a "coping mechanism". now, these "coping mechanisms" are inherrent in anyone who has a limit of tolerence (hopefully everyone does), and is designed to do exactly this; provide a distraction. ck has proved his talent with this to no end on several occasions. retarded and annoying he may be at some times, but no one here seems to be too much better. why dont you save us the effort and rip yourself a new asshole while shutting the hell up.

Yes, it's quite obviously fake. But if I, say, got a picture of CK and made it look like he was getting gruesomely murdered, and posted it with a caption of "Look out behind you! " would it be appropriate? No.

I didn't even make it. It was posted on the daily jolt and I thought it was weird so I posted it here. FYI.

oh yeah and clues to how it is a fake that I noticed before posting here:

plane is coming in straight on. actual plane came in at about a 30 degree angle

guy doesn't look surprised, even though a jet that close would be deafeningly loud.

jet, guy, and date are superimposed

guy is wearing winter coat when it was warm out

plane coming in from wrong side

also, you can't get on the actual roof of the WTC, there is the top floor observation deck which is enclosed like a regular floor. there is no exposed roof.

the only reason that this humor is "innappropriate" is because of your point of view. you may be that death is in no way humorous, however people who aren't actually you are in fact entitled to have their own sense of humor. you may think that the bombing of the towers was wrong, as do i, however there are, strangely enough, 2 sides to every coin. the people who crashed those planes were probably not alone in hating the U.S., and therefore they would find humor in things that we dont like. ck is a sick, twisted person, and though he probably doesn't have the mindset of these terrorists, he can at least appreciate another persons point of view, which acc. to hindu religion, is a sign of enlightenment, which might be equated to maturity. you may, at some point, wish to consider the fact that this is not the end of the world, and therefore should not be treated as such. everyone is allowed to deal with their problems in their own way, so leave him alone.

I agree, let everyone deal with problems in their own way. If he thinks it's funny, let him think it's funny... privately. If I find hardcore porn funny, should I start posting it here? If I find snuff films funny, should I start posting screen caps of them here?

If I find MURDER funny, should I start posting JOKES about it here?

The answer to all, and more, of these questions is NO. Sure, everyone has the right to free speech, as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights!

That last part is key. I don't feel that I should come into this forum, looking to chat with people, learning about new events that are occuring in light of this situation, then see someone who posts a picture that jokes about thousands of people dying.

If you think it's so funny CatKnight, keep it on your own damn computer.
