I really don't like christmas:

The tree is a hastle to get, set up, take down, clean-up after.

the Lights are always tangled and there is always one bulb that ruins the whole string.

The whole thing is way to commercialized and material.

At least New years eve has fireworks.

The town where my mother lives... 300 souls, including the cows and the cemetary. It takes 15 minutes to walk across it.

To give you an idea, she lives in what used to be the general store, in front of the town hall and of the church.

for christmas, I want a working dsl modem that works over ethernet (damn you, USB!) and to upgrade my webhosting junk. And maybe a really hot chicks to be fuck-buddies with, but I guess you can't get everything you want.
