I thought FUBAR meant Fucked Up Beyond Repair... that's what it says in the hacker's dictionary (the Jargon File, not the fake Carolyn Min-whatever version).Also, Foo is like my favorite anything. It just fits every situation. ------------------

FUBAR is from the military. So is a 'Charlie Fox', the polite term for a cluster fuck. a CF is when everything goes wrong. It then ends up FUBAR. . I must admit my ignorance. I can't say that I've heard of SNAFU, and if I have, I can't remember it. ------------------
